Jessica's Point of View

I lost against Luxord. I held in my tears as I handed the locket over. He looked at it. "The quality of this gold seems to be rather flawed. It's useless. Here, you can have it back." Luxord handed the locket back to me, and I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. I knew there was nothing wrong with my locket. Luxord was just being generous toward me.

"Thank you, Luxord."

"I'm afraid I won't be taking you anywhere in the near future."

"Yes. Thank you for humoring me, at least."

"Anytime. If you wish, I'm always up for a friendly competition. No stakes necessary for you."

"Yeah. Thanks, Luxord. It's always good to know."

Luxord left the room, and Xemnas appeared looking furious. "So, this was your plan all along?"

I backed away from Xemnas slowly. I had never seen him look so mad. "What are you talking about? You're scaring me."

"You have the nerve to ask me that after what you just attempted?!" He began walking toward me until he backed me up against a wall.

"H-how did you find out?" My voice was weak with fear.

"That is beside the point. Not only do you try to leave the castle, but you put yourself in harm's way in the process?! You could be killed! I hope you know you crossed a line today!"

"Xemnas, I-" My brain was swirling, trying to think of a way out of my situation. Xemnas grabbed my wrist. "What are you doing?" He pulled me through the halls into an area I hadn't been in before. "What is this place?"

"The prison," Xemnas answered.

"We have a prison?" I gasped. Xemnas glared at me sharply. "Wait, you're not going to leave me in here, are you? Xemnas, let's- let's think about this. I'm really, really sorry, and it won't happen again. Can't you give me a grace period to get my act together? How about I clean the entire castle from top to bottom? That would be a much more suitable punishment."

My pleas did nothing. Xemnas shoved me into a cell, and bars appeared. "You will be in solitary confinement until further notice. If you dare ever take your schemes to this extent again, it will be longer."

"Xemnas, wait. I'm sorry. I'm just desperate, alright? Please understand. Please. It doesn't have to be like this."

"You're right. It doesn't have to be like this. That is something for you to think about during your solitary confinement." Xemnas walked away.

"Xemnas? Xemnas, wait! Don't leave me here! Please come back! Don't leave me!" There was no reply. I was alone with my tears.
