Chapter 16

The rest of the day continued the same as how it had started, they continued working hard and by the time it got dark the boys were practically falling over. The captain led the boys to a small cabin with a bunk bed. Having left all their stuff in a corner on the main dech they rushed back up, gathered up their stuff and made their way back. Pibby had been unconscious since the incident and she didn't display any signs of waking up anytime soon.

They had left her by the equipment and when they returned Goh gently picked her up, carried her to the cabin and laid her down on top of the two chairs the room had been provided with. Laying a dry towel under Pibby the boys took turns using the shower and getting dressed.

When they were all prepared to get into bed Goh looked towards Pibby but his view was obstructed by a certain green monkey who decided Goh's hair would be a comfortable spot to sleep that night.

Ash and Pikachu didn't have this problem, Ash fell asleep as soon as his head had touched the stale pillow and Pikachu fell asleep on Ash's chest curled up like a cat by a fire. They were snoring loudly and the light hadn't even been turned off.

Goh laughed at his friend's antics. Goh turned the light off, still smiling but his happy thoughts were replaced with nightmares from the deepest part of his head and the strangest thing was Ash was there.

Pibby was not having a normal dream because normal dreams don't answer breaking the dreams fourth wall, they don't give you consciousness (unless it's a lucid dream) and dreams definitely did not create sentient beings.

Pibby was standing in one of the fields from her universe and an eerie silence was present. Pibby did not like the silence, it reminded her of the pokeball. The field was covered in thick fog and in the distance she could make out a shadow walking towards the shadow she stopped when she saw that it belonged to a large black floating creature with two long sharp shoulder armor plates that was attached to the creature and a cool spiky red thing around its neck.

The creature was just floating in one spot facing away from Pibby, making her way around it she saw it appeared to be staring at something in the distance that Pibby could not see. Still staring into the fog the creature said 'I don't have a lot of time but am here to support you for the inevitable battle that is going to take place. I have something I love and I am willing to do whatever it takes to protect that. You know what we're up against so I will join the fight when the time comes' the creature said. The creature had been staring into the distance the whole time and had not once even looked at Pibby. Pibby could pick up on both fear and pain from the way it spoke/thought so she guessed it was worried about its claimed love and couldn't stand it getting hurt.

After about 10 minutes of silence the creature straightened its back and said 'i have to go, remember, i will be there when the battle starts and i will do my best to protect those i love' finally looking at Pibby the creature said 'you are this universe last hope,we're counting on you' it said and suddenly Pibby was sitting up straight breathing heavily.

She looked around and saw she was in some kind of small cabin and laying on the bunks across the room were the two boys that had caught her also sitting up straight and breathing heavily. "Darkrai " the two boys said at the same time.
