After the Battle, the only thing that Harry wants to do is rest, but he notices that there is something that he needs to do first: bring Snape's body back to Hogwarts. Rather than taking care of him "purely out of the goodness of their hearts", the Dursleys decide to abandon Harry into a forest. Obviously, a 5years old boy couldn't survive. But Harry Potter had been chosen by Fate, and if Fate has to make a monster of him so he can survive until the right moment, then so be it. Dark/Grey!Harry (depends on your definition)
