Severus slept better than he ever had. His first instinct was to get up and get dressed in case he was summoned. Like he had done every day for the last twenty years. But his subconscious was telling him to sleep because today was different. Maybe it was the warm body of the beautiful woman next to him. And then he realized he would never be summoned again.

Severus glared at the hideous costume Harry was trying to force him into. He shuddered at the thought of having to wear the rainbow-coloured unicorn suit, so much so that Severus turned away from the sight. Harry whined, "Sevvy, please! I told my friends that my Sevvy loves me so much that he'll wear the costume for the party! They'll make fun of me if you won't!"

Regulus was staring at Potter again instead of eating. He would claim that he was observing—not staring—but Rabastan couldn't give less of a fuck. Watching Regulus pine away for the Gryffindor dork had become boring rather quickly. The 'oh-so-secretive' longing looks Potter sent Regulus when he wasn't looking were even worse.
