She falls asleep on his couch one night, forcing her to reflect on her true feelings. She can't take the uncertainty any longer. A companion piece to chapter 10 of my WIP 'The Bright Green Blanket' however it also functions as a standalone one-shot.

The multi-chapter "After the War" piece goes with the book version, with Harry not taking leave before going to the forest. This is a smaller piece where he goes the movie route and does say goodbye, with minor changes for Greater Plausibility and Moar Angst.

Vernon Dursley went too far. When Harry's admitted to hospital the Dursleys' crimes are finally revealed and Harry is adopted by a doctor. Who'd have thought that legally changing his last name would've caused so much drama.
