Great Hall, Hogwarts, 11/14/1997, 13:38

Harry warily entered the great hall and for good reason, every eye in the hall seemed to notice him before he could make it to the Hufflepuff table.

"Good afternoon Harry, where have you been hiding?" Cedric asked cheerfully.

"Trying to get in front of that blasted article," Harry sighed as he began filling his plate.

"You had better look out, Spinnet is on the warpath this morning," Cedric said gleefully.

"Where is she?" Harry asked looking around the hall nervously.

"Busting into the broom closets on the upper floors, your brother told her he saw you taking the French champion to one about an hour ago," Cedric explained beaming at the look of horror that crossed Harry's face at this statement.

"Figures, I think the little worm likes getting publicly smacked down," Harry scowled as he thought about how he would make William suffer for this.

He began shovelling his steak and kidney pie into his mouth hoping to finish before Alicia made it back from the wild goose chase his brother had sent her on.

"You might as well slow down," Cedric smirked as he glanced at the door.

" I can't, I still have to write a letter to mum about that fucking article," Harry muttered between bites of his lunch.

"What about Spinnet, she's going to want to talk to you about it too," Cedric pointed out helpfully.

"I don't have time for that, Sirius's solicitor will be filing a libel suit against the Prophet this afternoon," Harry said dismissively.

"Well you had better make time, Potter," Alicia hissed from directly behind him.

"Oh bugger," Harry muttered.

"Well... explain yourself! Why were you all cosy with that French tart on the front page of the Prophet!?" Alicia demanded irritably.

"We were just talking, they took the photo to look suggestive but nothing happened, between me and Delacour" Harry replied, his tone dripping with annoyance.

"Then why did William say that he saw you leading her to a broom closet!?" Alicia exclaimed angrily her voice carrying throughout the entire hall.

"Because my brother is a lying wanker," Harry exclaimed cutting his eyes to his brother at the Gryffindor table who gave him a cheeky grin.

"You have been avoiding me," Alicia snapped changing the subject.

"Well yeah, who would want to have this conversation?" Harry said aware that everyone in the hall staff included were listening in.

"So you were planning to avoid me until what, I forgot about it?" Alicia asked incredulously.

"Not one of my better plans, I admit. Look that whole article was taken out of context and Diggory said my best bet would be to hide until this all blew over," Harry explained dragging his best mate into this since he wanker looked far too happy watching Harry suffer.

"Why are you listening to that tosser, you told me yourself that Chang was just a cover and that he is secretly dating Davies, he knows nothing about women!" Alicia snapped causing eyes all over the hall to look in Cedric's direction.

"I knew it!" Harry heard Luna Lovegood exclaim from the other side of the hall.

"What! Harry you son of a b-

"That was a secret Alicia," Harry said loudly cutting across Cedric's angry outburst.

"I don't care! I can't believe you thought the solution to this was hiding from me!" Alicia exclaimed looking furious.

"And I'm sorry for that, please calm down Alicia, take a seat and have some lunch with me and Cedric, he could use some girl talk," Harry said in a soothing tone.

"To hell with that, I don't want to be around you right now!" Alicia hissed before turning on her heel and marching over to the Gryffindor table where the other two chasers were shooting him death glares.

"Yet she spent all morning searching for me," Harry snorted as he went back to his lunch ignoring the look Cedric was shooting his way.

"I can't believe you told her I was gay for Davies," Cedric muttered still glaring daggers at him.

"I got the idea from the Lovegood girl," Harry grinned as he glanced up at Diggory who looked ready to throttle him.

"I have never been good at pulling a prank, Potter, but this insult to the house of Diggory will not be forgotten," Cedric exclaimed dramatically.

"I am sure this will all blow over, Alicia will come to her senses and Chang will correct the rumours about your... preferences," Harry said optimistically though Cedric didn't look convinced.

"I will make you pay for this," Cedric growled before going back to his lunch.

"Don't be a wanker about this Diggory, I remember the rumour you spread about me going down on Clearwater last year," Harry accused.

"It wasn't a rumour! I walked into the bloody defence classroom and saw you with her legs wrapped around your head!" Cedric exclaimed looking outraged.

"And you couldn't keep that to yourself," Harry said dismissively.

"It wasn't my fault that rumour got spread, Percy Weasley burst into the room and tried to duel you, I just shared the story with a few of our closest friends," Cedric defended.

"It was the last part that did all of the damage, I had a shot with Heidi Macavoy til that rumour started circling about," Harry scowled.

"As if, she was way out of your league," Cedric snorted.

"Well she is now, she got drafted to the Tornadoes reserve team after she graduated," Harry conceded.

"You really have a thing for chasers don't you," Cedric smirked.

"It's the most important position on the team," Harry shrugged.

"Potter are you really going to shrug Alicia off and start talking about quidditch, you are such a pig," Susan cut in before he and Cedric could start up the old seeker vs chaser debate.

"Relationships are very complex things, Bones," Harry said sagely.

"Maybe Cedric's relationship is but yours is pretty simple. Apologize to her, grovel a bit and she'll come around," Susan insisted.

"One problem with that plan," Harry smirked.

"Oh, what's that?" Susan asked curiously.

"Harry James Potter does not grovel," Harry said matter of factly.

"How is my relationship more complicated than his?" Cedric cut in.

"You heard what Alicia said, she tells everyone about your tryst with Roger Davies," Susan smirked.

"It's a complete lie!" Cedric implored.

"Of course it is," Harry said patronizingly.

"Whatever you say, Cedric," Susan said in a disbelieving tone.

"Harry," Cedric said in a tone of forced calm.

"Yeah mate?" Harry asked looking up from his plate.

"I hate you so much right now," Cedric growled.

"I know mate, I know," Harry said cheerfully as he scooped some treacle onto his plate.

Hufflepuff Dorms, Hogwarts, 11/14/1997, 22:28

Harry sat reading his charms book, he was still trying to perfect his animation charms on transfigured items.

This year they had started using nonverbal spells for the first time. Harry had just recently gotten tbe hang of casting without saying the incantation and liked to practice casting nonverbal when he had some free time.

Harry was snapped out of his reading when he heard his godfather's voice coming out of the drawer in his bedside table. Reaching over he fished his communication mirror out of the drawer and saw his haggard-looking godfather staring back at him.

"Padfoot, you look like shit mate," Harry said as got comfortable resting his back against the headboard.

"I have been running all day on your behalf how about a little fucking gratitude you pimple-faced wanker," Sirius exclaimed dramatically.

"Jeez you're in a foul mood," Harry chuckled.

"You have no idea, but I have accomplished my goal. The prophet will be printing a retraction in the morning," Sirius sighed tiredly.

"Doesn't matter much the damage has already been done," Harry sighed

"We have begun the process of suing Rita Skeeter for libel against an heir of an ancient and noble house," Sirius continued ignoring Harry's last comment.

" Thanks Sirius, how did mom take the news?" Harry questioned.

"You know how she feels about Skeeter," Sirius chuckled.

"Do you want the memory of the event?" Harry asked curiously.

"No, Mr Howe will be by to collect it from you while an auror oversees the process, otherwise the defence will question its validity," Sirius explained.

"Alright," Harry nodded in understanding.

"How is Will handling the pressure?" Sirius asked changing the subject.

"You know him, it hasn't fully sunk in how dangerous this tournament is, though Hermione seems to be lighting a fire under his ass," Harry replied remembering the time he had heard her nagging him in the library.

"Does she still light up like a Christmas light when you smile at her?" Sirius asked sounding highly amused.

"Her and your girlfriend's niece both," Harry smirked.

"Well don't mess with Amy's niece or you'll go to jail," Sirius warned.

"No shit, I'm not into redheads anyway," Harry shrugged.

"You definitely don't take after your father," Sirius chuckled.

"I know what kind of temper mum has, I don't want to risk that being a common trait in all women with red hair," Harry replied.

"Ahh, very wise. So how is that bird you're seeing taking the article?" Sirius asked though from the look on the man's face it was obvious he already knew.

"Poorly, she was already jealous of the French champion the article just added fuel to that fire," Harry sighed.

"But nothing is going on with you and Monsieur Delacour's daughter?" Sirius asked shrewdly.

"Absolutely not, she's a little brat and way too full of herself," Harry scowled.

"Pot, kettle mate," Sirius quipped.

"Whatever, say hi to mum for me," Harry said intending to cut the connection.

"Not so fast, have you found out anything about what the first task is going to be?" Sirius asked.

"Not officially but from my research, I am fairly confident that it will have something to do with a dangerous magical creature," Harry explained.

"Well be careful and keep your eyes open, if it's a creature they will have to move it to the school a few days prior to the task," Sirius advised.

"So they would probably hide them in the forest?" Harry asked.

"Yeah most likely," Sirius agreed.

"Right, I'll keep a lookout," Harry promised.

"Good now get to bed, I have things to do," Sirius said.

"New issue ofPlaywizardcome out then?" Harry quipped.

"No you twat, I have to go meet up with Amy after she gets off work," Sirius said before ending the connection.

"That was rude," Harry said to his own reflection before putting the mirror back in his drawer.

Harry agreed that if he wanted to find out what he was up against in the first task then checking the forest a few days before the task would be a good idea.

Harry really hated going into the Forbidden Forest, according to Will, there was a massive colony of acromantula living in there and who knew what else.

He would give it a shot nonetheless he did not want to go into the task unprepared.

'Hope I don't stumble onto one of Hagrid's pets,' Harry sighed as he waved his wand turning off the lights.

Great Hall, Hogwarts, 11/15/1997, 08:38

Harry walked into the great hall and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that the hall was almost empty minus the heads of the four houses and a light scattering of Ravenclaws.

Harry made his way to his normal seat and began piling food on his plate, he had just started eating breakfast when he saw two men enter the hall.

The thin man with the slicked-back salt and pepper hair he recognized from the law firm his godfather had on retainer. This was Mr Howe from Dewey, Fleecem, and Howe one of the best solicitors in Great Britain.

The other man was wearing the trademark red robes of the auror corp, he was a tall man probably six-two and powerfully built, dark-skinned with a large gold hoop earring in his left ear and a bald head. This was senior auror Shacklebolt if he remembered correctly.

Rising from his chair he made his way over to the two men, " Mr Howe, Auror Shacklebolt, are you here to retrieve the memory of the weighing of the wands ceremony?" Harry asked politely.

"Yes, if you don't mind I would like to retrieve it right here so there are even more witnesses," Me Howe said loudly his voice echoing in the hall as he led Harry back to the Hufflepuff table.

Harry grinned as he quickly understood why Mr Howe wished to do it this way.

Removing the memory in a public setting would give them a deeper pool of witnesses that could confirm that the proper procedure was followed when retrieving the memory, essentially making it uncontestable.

"By all means go ahead," Harry answered.

"Auror Shacklebolt will perform the extraction then you will need to sign the forms testifying that you have not altered, tampered, or modified this memory in any way," Mr Howe explained in a businesslike tone.

"I understand," Harry assured the solicitor before turning to Shacklebolt, " when you're ready, sir."

"Do you know how to bring a memory forward, Mr Potter?" Shacklebolt asked as he drew his wand.

"Yes," Harry said as he concentrated on the weighing of the wands ceremony specifically his interactions with Fleur Delacour before saying, " I have it."

Kingsley brought the tip of his wand to Harry's temple and muttered a spell before pulling his wand away. On the tip of his wand was a long silvery gossamer strand that seemed to stretch out of Harry's head about eight inches or so before it came free and clung to the tip of Shacklebolt's wand.

Auror Shacklebolt carefully lowered the memory strand into a crystal potions vial and gently flicked his wand detaching the memory from his wand tip. Harry watched the thin strand of memory coil around the bottom of the vial before settling into a gaseous silvery liquid.

Auror shacklebolt then corked the vial and sealed it with wax before he touched his wand to the wax casting a spell that made the vial glow a faint purple for a second.

The next few minutes were spent signing the forms stipulating that no alterations were made to the memory and that Auror Shacklebolt followed all of the correct procedures when extracting said memory.

By the time the two men got up from the Hufflepuff table to take their leave the hall had filled up and many of the students were watching them curiously.

"I will be in touch if anything else arises, good day Mr Potter," Mr Howe said before he left the hall escorted by Auror shacklebolt who had deposited the memory vial into a sealed and labelled clear plastic evidence bag.

"So I take it your godfather let slip the dogs of war?" Cedric asked taking the seat Mr Howe had just vacated.

"Yes, we have filed a libel suit against Rita Skeeter," Harry answered as he refilled his plate, the food he had started eating earlier had vanished after about five minutes of being unattended.

"I should file one against you," Cedric muttered.

"Oh let it go, man," Harry sighed.

"I will... for now," Cedric said between bites of his omelette.

"Good, have you seen my brother today?" Harry asked as he scanned the Gryffindor table and saw Granger and the Weasley boy but no Will.

"Yeah, I think I saw him going out to the quidditch pitch, the Gryffindors are having another practice," Cedric said thoughtfully.

"Ugh that reminds me, I need to track down Alicia and sort this mess out," Harry sighed.

"It wouldn't be so hard if you followed my advice," Susan said from her seat down the table.

"It's rude to eavesdrop, Bones," Harry said distractedly.

"Fine, go about it your way and drag your fight out for weeks," Susan huffed.

"I will, and it won't be weeks, I am hard to stay mad at," Harry smirked, absently he heard Cedric make a cough that sounded suspiciously like, "Bullshit."

"Need a coughdrop, mate?" Harry asked.

"No, I'm fine but you're about to have a bad day," Cedric said gleefully.

"Why?" Harry asked.

"Monsieur Potter," Fleur said before taking the seat across from him and catching the attention of the entire Hufflepuff table.

"Delacour, what do I owe the pleasure of your company?" Harry asked looking into her blue eyes.

"My papa has also filed a suit against zis Skeeter woman, our avocat will crush 'er like a bug," Fleur said confidently.

"Good, I am sorry that you got dragged into this vendetta Skeeter has with my family," Harry said sincerely.

"Do not apologise, wiz any luck the payout from zis lawsuit will buy my family a pool for our vacation home in Nice," Fleur smirked.

"Oh this day just got better," Cedric grinned while looking towards the entrance to the hall.

Turning in that direction Harry groaned internally as an irate Alicia was making her way toward him.

"Sometimes I think you do this on purpose," Harry said looking at a very amused Fleur.

"Non, it is just very inconvenient timing. I will leave you to deal with your... paramour," Fleur said as she got up and made her way out of the hall, walking past Alicia and shooting her a knowing grin as she walked by.

"She is a nuisance," Harry muttered tiredly.

"She is gorgeous though," Cedric said, his eyes glued to Fleur's retreating form.

"Potter, we need to talk," Alicia said looking angrier than he had ever seen her.

"Yeah, alright," Harry said as he got up to follow her from the hall.

'This is not going to be fun,' Harry thought as the walked from the hall.

She dumped him! He had never been dumped before, usually he was the one doing the dumping. Their talk had not been so much talking as her berating him for having the audacity to talk to the French champion after that article yesterday.

Harry told her quite bluntly that he would do whatever the hell he wanted and if she didn't like it she could kick rocks. The argument had gone into a downward spiral from there when she took his flippant advice to heart.

So now he sat in the classroom Alicia had just stormed out of, still trying to process the fact that he had been dumped!

If he was honest with himself the hit to his pride hurt much more than the breakup itself. Still, he wished it had ended on better terms, Alicia was a good friend before they had started dating and now it seemed the friendship was over and that did sadden him a bit.

Harry knew the relationship would have ended eventually, her jealousy was definitely a point of contention that they would never have gotten over in the long run.

'That could have gone better,' Harry thought as he decided to head to the quidditch pitch for a flight to help clear his head.

Hogsmeade, Scotland, 11/22/1997, 09:49

Harry and Cedric walked down the path to Hogsmeade. Cedric would be meeting up with Chang atPuddifoot'saround eleven, poor sod. Harry had already flat out refused a double date with Cho's friend Marietta Edgecombe.

Harry planned on making the tour of the village, getting a bite to eat, and making his way back to the castle by two or three.

When they entered the village the two of them made a beeline forZonko'sjoke shop, his little brother needed to be educated and the joke shop could hopefully give him some inspiration.

Harry stopped cold when they passedHoneyduke's, Alicia was coming out of the candy store holding hands with none other than Roger Davies.

"Looks like she has moved on, Mate," Cedric said bringing Harry back to reality.

"Yeah it would appear so," Harry nodded distractedly as he continued walking towardZonko's, now completely lost in his thoughts.

He wasn't sure how he felt about this turn of events, if he had to put it into words, he would say that he was a tad jealous.

Once again this kind of thing had never happened to him before and he wasn't sure how to handle it.

Harry knew Alicia had done this intentionally, she knew how much he disliked Roger Davies, so it was pretty obvious she was prancing around the village with him just to get under his skin.

Harry was also certain after that rumour about Davies and Cedric Harry had started, that the feeling was mutual. This could explain why the Ravenclaw chaser had gone along with this.

"See mate she moved on, you should too," Cedric said as they stepped into the shop.

"I am not taking out Edgecombe, she has an insufferable personality," Harry said flatly as he walked down the aisle of joke sweets.

"She isn't that bad and she has a huge crush on you," Cedric reasoned as he looked at a box of fart powder.

"I'm still going to pass," Harry said as he grabbed two boxes of fart powder and headed to the counter.

"That's all your getting?" Cedric asked in surprise.

"It's all I need," Harry assured him as he paid for the items and slipped them into his robe pockets.

"Alright, I have to run to make my date on time," Cedric said when they strolled out of the shop.

"Alright have fun," Harry smirked as they parted ways, Cedric going to the teashop, while Harry made his way toHoneyduke's.

The shop was packed but he easily made it to the back of the shop in the effects section where his favourite fizzing whizzbees were on display.

Grabbing a pack he made his way to the aisle with hundreds of varieties of chocolate, he was looking for chocolate cauldrons filled with strawberry creme when he about tripped over someone crouched down near one of the lower shelves.

Harry looked down noticing the french champion in the nick of time, before he walked into her.

"Got a sweet tooth Delacour?" Harry asked in amusement as he snagged three boxes of his favourite chocolate cauldrons from the shelf above her head.

"Non, my sister will be arriving tomorrow to watch ze task, I zought I would get her some chocolate," Fleur said as she stood up.

Harry idly noticed that she was about three inches shorter than him in height as they walked side by side to the counter.

"How old is your sister?" Harry asked curiously as they got in line together.

"Eight," Fleur said a smile tugging at the corner of her mouth.

"So she is still cute then?" Harry asked.

"Exactly, soon she will be a whiny moody teenager," Fleur agreed as she stepped to the counter and paid for her chocolate.

"I hear that, my brother used to be tolerable," Harry said wisely as he paid for his sweets.

"Yes, ze little boy seems very annoying," Fleur agreed as they walked out of the shop.

"Well I'll see you later," Harry said intending them to go their separate ways.

"Non, you can buy me lunch for almost trampling me," Fleur said matter of factly.

"So you're going to use this to extort free food out of me?" Harry snorted.

"Oui, when you look as good as I do you do not 'ave to pay for food," Fleur said in a haughty tone

"Fair enough, but I've seen the guys you attract and they don't seem like very good conversationalists," Harry smirked as he led her towards theThree Broomsticks.

"Zey are weak-minded simpletons but zey have zeir uses," Fleur shrugged.

"No arguments there," Harry nodded as he held the door open and they both stepped into the crowded pub.

"Zeir is your brozers girlfriend but where is he?" Fleur said pointing to a table where Hermione was seemingly sitting alone.

Glancing over in the direction she indicated, he noticed two tankards on the table and had a suspicion that Will was there under his invisibility cloak.

Harry reached into his pocket and pulled out one of the boxes he had purchased from Zonko's, opening the lid he took a small pinch before sealing the box and putting it back in his pocket.

"What is zat?" Fleur asked as he lead them towards Hermione's table.

"Payback," Harry whispered as he came up to the table near the second goblet and looked at Hermione while subtly placing his hand with the fart powder near the rim waiting for the right moment.

"Hermione, where is Will at?" Harry asked putting on a worried demeanour.

"I-I don't know," Hermione sputtered her cheeks going scarlet.

Harry leaned forward and subtly dropped the powder in the drink completely unnoticed by the distracted girl and quietly said, "Well if you see him tell him I'm looking for him."

"O-okay," Hermione nodded.

With that Harry found a seat in the corner where he could see the table his brother was sitting at, noticing the tainted tankard of butterbeer had disappeared from the table.

"What was zat about?" Fleur asked when she had taken her seat.

"My brother is under his invisibility cloak, that powder I put in his drink will cause extreme flatulence," Harry grinned as the barmaid came by their table

"What can I get you dears?" The woman asked as she leaned forward showing off her impressive cleavage.

"A chicken Ceasar salad and a glass of -

'FRAAAAAAAAAAP!'

Fleur was cut off as the sound of a cannon blast fart cut through the din of the pub, drawing all eyes in the direction of Hermione's table.

" And a glass of ze elf made wine," Fleur finished lamely looking at Hermione's table in disgust.

"I want a turkey club and a glass of oak matured mead," Harry added after Rosmerta had written down Fleur's order

"Coming right-

FRAAAAAAAAAAP

" I'll have your order out, Shortly," the barmaid said looking flummoxed before making her way towards the kitchens.

"Zat is very childish," Fleur admonished as she saw the students sitting close to Hermione's table watching the girl warily.

"Luckily the powder does not generate smell just-

FRAAAAAAAAAAP!

- the sound effect," Harry grinned as Hermione was blushing furiously and glaring at the place he knew William was seated.

"Zat is still awful dinner music," Fleur snorted looking amused against her will.

"The dose I gave him will only last a few minutes," Harry assured her.

"Good, it is a disgusting-

FRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!

" It is but sometimes the best pranks are the classics," Harry shrugged as he watched people hastily moving to other tables.

By now there were empty tables within ten feet of Hermione in every direction. Poor Hermione looked an even mix between mortified and furious, she was glaring daggers at the chair Will was seated at.

"Zat girl is going to wring 'is neck," Fleur giggled as Rosmerta returned with their order.

Harry picked up his tankard of mead and raised his glass in Will's direction as if toasting him, he could have sworn he saw a hand flipping the bird appear out of thin air for a split second before vanishing again.

"Yes, that's what I'm counting on," Harry admitted as he watched Hagrid and Mad-Eye Moody approach Hermione's table.

"What did he do to deserve zat?" Fleur asked after she had taken a few bites of her salad.

"He told Alicia that I had taken you to a broom closet the morning that article came out," Harry shrugged.

"I am sorry about zat, I know eet is partially my fault zat you two split up," Fleur said sympathetically.

"Thanks, but it isn't your fault she acted so irrational, if I blame anyone it would be Skeeter for publishing that damn article," Harry shrugged before taking a large bite from his sandwich.

"I saw 'er with zat Davies boy earlier," Fleur said delicately.

"I know, I saw them too," Harry shrugged still a bit sour about the whole situation.

"Zat does not make you angry?" Fleur asked in surprise.

"I find it irritating, I knew the relationship wouldn't last very long when we got together, but usually I'm the one breaking things off," Harry admitted.

"And now ze shoe is on ze other foot," Fleur nodded in understanding

"Exactly, can we please talk about something else?" Harry asked as he popped a crisp into his mouth.

"Very well, are you prepared for ze first task?" Fleur asked looking over his shoulder at something near the doorway.

"I think so, I just hope they don't throw us a curveball," Harry admitted.

"So you zink it will be a creature zat we have to battle?" Fleur asked shrewdly.

"Yes, if this tournament follows the model of past tournaments it should be a creature we have to deal with on Monday," Harry said deciding there was no point in playing stupid.

"I agree zough I 'ave no idea what creature," Fleur said leadingly.

"You're barking up the wrong tree there, I have no idea what creature we will be facing," Harry chuckled at her obvious attempt to fish for information.

"Eet was worth a try by ze way your ex is glaring daggers at us," Fleur smirked looking over his right shoulder.

"I don't really care," Harry shrugged as he finished the last bite of his sandwich.

They quickly finished their meal and walked out of tbe pub. Harry did notice Alicia glaring daggers at Fleur as they walked towards the door and shook his head in amusement. She was here with another guy afterall, Harry thought this behaviour was beyond stupid as she was the one who dumped him, to begin with.

Harry and Fleur both walked the path back to the castle in companionable silence enjoying the quiet of the path after the noisy ambience of the crowded pub.

It wasn't until after they had walked through the gates that Fleur broke the silence.

"Good luck in ze task," Fleur said as they were getting ready to go in different directions her to the carriage and him to the Hufflepuff common room.

"You too, try not to get yourself eaten by whatever monster we have to face," Harry smirked.

"I will complete ze task easily," Fleur said dismissively.

"Good I would hate to have Krum take your second-place spot," Harry quipped.

"We shall ze, zank you for buying my lunch," Fleur said before turning on the spot and striding towards the carriage, her hair whipping him in the face.

Chuckling at Fleur's overconfident attitude and wondering if she would be able to back it up.

Still, the more he thought about the task, the more he felt his stomach tighten as the nerves were starting to get to him.

He would give anything to know what it was he was facing and decided that it was time to take Sirius' advice on board.

Tonight he would make the trek into the forest in search of anything out of the ordinary, if he was lucky he wouldn't have to go in too deep.

'Maybe I won't run into those damn spiders,' Harry thought wryly as he stepped into the entry hall.
