Gone by: Ultimate Element

I lost him,
Not only in heart.
Why did he have to say,
Those awful words to me,
And break my heart,
Right in half.
I loved him,
But he didnt love me.
Now he's gone.

He fought the battle,
But he won and lost,
At the same time.
He payed the ultimate price,
With his one and only life.
But now he's gone.

Looking back,
I realize,
That when our friends got married,
We be came closer then close.
But we fought,
When I said "I love you",
I never got to say,
"I'm sorry" for it,
And now he's gone.
