MOONLIGHT NIGHT

"Don't open your eyes yet."
"Aww, Come on, Please?"
"Not yet. Just a few more steps."
"Now…?"
"Now."
"Oh…" was all she could say.

The view in front of her was of the full moon rising above the glittering ocean as she looked out from a cliff. She turned around in the encircling arms of her one true love. Her hair barely brushed the hands holding her around the waist. Then she reached up between those arms and pulled down those soft, warm lips she had been aching to kiss all day. When they finally let go of each other there was a contented silence as they watched the moon a little longer.

"Darien?"
"Yes, Serenity?"
"I love you."
"I know. I love you, too." And he tightened his arms just a little bit more around his precious princess.
"Can you believe tomorrow is our wedding?" she asked.
"It almost doesn't seem possible. After all that we had to go through, the pain and suffering…" He couldn't finish as his throat closed with the tears and emotion trying to get out.
"I know, my love. It seems like it was just yesterday that we 'bumped' into each other and when we shared our first kiss. Things will never be the same. We will rule Crystal Tokyo and our precious daughter will come and be with us as it is meant to be." She stops and looks up at her prince and can see all the love of his heart in his eyes. " And come hell or the end of all, I will be with you. Now, forever, and always. In All Ways."

And they kiss in front of the moon in all her glory with the waves crashing at their feet, and the purest love in the world in their hearts.

Thank you for reading this fan fiction of mine. I was kind of thinking it would be a good chance to show Prince Darien and Princess Serenity in one of their rare special private moments.
