Shelby stared blankly at the image from her past. All she could feel was movement and she could hear nothing but voices, movement, yelling, hugging, voices, voices.
Awaken from a deep dark silence she was shocked by the same brown eyes staring at her, the same brown eyes that she found comfort in, the same brown eyes that held her past.
Shelby: Seth! What are you doing here, how are you…
Seth: I should ask you the same question but I think I already know.
Shelby felt an awkward silence and looked at Scott.
Scott: how do you him?
Shelby: let me start from the beginning…..It all started when I first ran away, he was the local jock but he had had a crush on me since 10th grade. He was the football captain, and all around good guy. When I first started running away he was a friend, he let me stay at his house, he gave me money, he held me, he was my shelter, my everything.
She could see the hurt and anger in Scotts eyes, but all she cared about At the moment was her everything, and that scared her. He didn't notice but shelby was by the door inside and she was going to approach him when he picked up his guitar and started to play, than he sang:
