Bonus Poem

Dead Blue Sea

I gaze into your eyes,
a blue desert,
so devoid of life.
I wonder if you even know
what you are missing.
You stare at me,
cold death lurking in ice blue,
yet do you see me?
Or do you see the spark of life,
which you cannot possess?
Do you hate me because of it?
Or are you simply reacting,
like darkness against light.
I find myself crying for you,
but you won't accept my tears.
Even drowning in a dead blue sea,
I'll take your name with me,
on the lips of a prayer.
