Hermione sat in a chair in the Gryffindor common room reflecting on those days
events.She knew it was wrong for Ron to have callen her a Mudblood, but he always did
have a short temper.

It had all started when she met up with Harry after Care of Magical Creatures
to discuss what they should get for Ron's upcoming birthday. They talked about it as they
walked up to the castle and that is when it happened.
Hermione tripped on a rock as she was walking and Harry went to go help her up.His
lips brushed against her cheek as he pulled her up and that's when Ron chose that moment to
come and look for them.
"What the bloody hell is going on," Ron yelled losing his temper."It was just an
accident, you know I love you Ron," Hermione ansewered as her voice trembled. "Yeah Ron,
it was an accident,"Harry added.
"An accident," Ron sneered sarcasticly."Look you stuipid Mudblood," Ron yelled "I'm
tired of you Hermione, always bugging me and nagging me!" he added."You stuipid git, you
sound just like Malfloy," Harry yelled back at him."Stay out of it little hero boy!"Ron
ansewered turning beet red.
"Fine you can have your cozy little affair, good-bye!" Ron screeched before turning
around and heading back to the castle.

Hermione watched the fire while silent tears slowly ran down her already tear
stained cheeks."Oh Ron, i'm so sorry," she whispered. "I ruined our friendship that's lasted
all of these years," she added.
"Are you in here Herm?" Harry asked coming into the common room."I'm over here," Hermione
called from her chair.He came over and sat down in the chair opposite her and took her hand in
his."I'm so sorry about everything,it's all my fault," Harry said with sadness in his voice.
"No it's not Harry, we all knew it wouldn't last, me and Ron were too different."Hermione
replied putting a comfoting hand on his shoulder.For awhile they sat in silence watching the fire
and enjoying each others company.
Finally Harry's voice broke the silence and he said,"Herm I love you, I would never hurt
you." Hermione gasped in shock,did she just hear this? Suddenly millions of emotions came over
her:fear,shock,and sadness.
"Oh Harry," she whispered shaking her head."I kknew you would say no, i'm such an idiot,"
Harry pressed on."No," she whispered."I do love you," Hermione added. "Really?" Harry asked
eagerly. "Yes," Hermione replied while tears of happiness rolled down her cheeks.
Harry walked over to her chair and wrapped her into a big hug."I love you so much,"he
whispered into her ear."I love you too,"Hermione replied giving him a peck on the cheek.
