Why Did I Just Go? (Autumn Sorrows)
I looked out of my window. The leaves were turning red, orange, and yellow. Some were even falling. The very early Fall promised the beginning of the school year. But I wasn't worrying about school now. I was worrying about my friends. The Digidestined back in Japan. They were the only friends I ever had. Well, the only human friends I ever had, considering my twin Digimon, Terriermon and Lopmon. But, they were very special to me, and I feel like dying withotu them. That's what makes me sad. I miss them so much. Right when a stood up from my desk, Terriermon and Lopmon came in to the room.
"Willis, what's wrong?" Terriermon asked. I didn't know how he knew that I missed me friends too much. Then I suddenly realized something. Tears were falling down from my eyes! I quickly wiped my face. "Nothing is wrong, Terriermon." I said. "Yes, there is. You were crying." said Lopmon. "No, I wasnt," I said. "Yes you were!" said Terriermon and Lopmon together in a chorus. "No I wasn't." I replied. They looked at me blankly. So, I decided to tell them.
"You miss them that much?" said Lopmon in shock. I nodded. "Hey! I have an idea! Why don't you send them an e-mail using your D-Term-" started Terriermon. I rushed to my D-Terminal. Terriermon had a great idea! I picked it up and started typing. The message I wrote said:
Dear Davis, Cody, Yolei, Kari, and T.K.,
I miss you guys so much! Maybe I can come to Japan,
or you can come to Colorado! Hey, Davis! Can I still
kiss Kari? :)
Sincerely Yours,
Willis
I clicked on the send button immediately. Terriermon and Lopmon looked shocked. "What?" I said, looking puzzled. "Do you know how fast you wrote that letter?" asked Terriermon. "Huh? No, I don't." I replied. I didn't really pay much attention to the clock. "It was under 5 seconds!" remarked Lopmon. "Well, I guess my typing lessons paid off! Heh!" I said with a grin.
*In Japan*
Davis, Kari, T.K., Cody, and Yolei were in the computer lab, about to go to the Digiworld. "Okay! We're ready! Digiport-" started Yolei. We all heard a beeping noise. Cody pulled out his D-Terminal and gasped. "It's from Willis!" he said. Davis quickly turned on his and read the message. "What does he mean, kiss Kari? No way!" said Davis as he started to reply to Willis' message. "I dunno, Davis. I kind of liked it when he kissed me," said Kari, also replying to Willis' message. "WHAT?!" roared Davis. "I kind of liked it, too!" remarked Yolei as she pushed the "Reply" button on her D-Terminal. T.K. and Cody laughed. "What's so funny?" asked Davis. "Nothing, nothing..." "Tell me!" "No!" "You had better tell me!" "Davis, quit it! "Okay, Kari!"
