Dumbledore & His Socky Christmas
It was Christmas morning in Hogwarts. Dumbledore sat up in his bed and yawned. He stretched his arm and whoops… he knocked a parcel to the floor. He got out of bed and opened it. It was a pair of green and red socks. As he bent to pull it on his foot, he saw a label on the floor, saying "Merry Christmas, from Professor MacGonagall".
Just a moment after he finished pulling on his socks, there came a knock on the door. He opened the door, and there stood Harry, Hermione and Ron.
"Hi," they said cheerfully. They held out colourfully wrapped boxes.
Dumbledore accepted them with a smile. He ripped open Harry's present first—it was a pair of thick woolen socks. Then he opened Ron's present. It was a pair of red socks with Christmas trees stitched all over it.
He glanced at the trio. Harry beamed and said, "I told them about what you said you saw in the Mirror of Erised."
"Open mine now!" Hermione said eagerly.
Dumbledore ripped open the wrapping paper and saw a book teaching the steps to knit socks! He grinned in surprise.
"Great presents!" he cried with zest. "Come on, let's go for breakfast."
As they walked along the corridor to the breakfast hall, students appeared and loaded Dumbledore's arms with parcels and boxes of different sizes. When they reached the breakfast table, there was an even bigger pile of presents there.
As Dumbledore sat down, students started yelling for him to open their presents. Dumbledore smiled and opened one present after another.
Socks…socks…socks…more socks…more socks…and yet more socks!
It was indeed a very very socky Christmas for Dumbledore!
P.S. I know, it's very short, but then I was supposed to be doing my homework when I was doing this. Anyway, pls review.
