Digidestined Poem # 1 – "Yuuki no Honou"

A daunting, yet manageable.
Exhilarating, yet arduous.
Task is set
Before me and the others.

I wonder, will we be able
To accomplish
All that is expected of us?

But we have no choice.

And so it shall be…

Battle after battle, fight after fight
Warring soldiers and crying souls
All around.

Whirling minds, disrupted thoughts
Pieces of broken hearts
scattered, an image
of failure.

But through the morass of pain,
The mess of broken dreams,
Rising to soar above the

…war – torn battlefield…

Casting a warm glow on everything.
The everlasting flame
Of my courage.

And as it burns, I realize
That with him by my side
I can accomplish
Anything.
