Digidestined Poem # 2 – "Hikari no Hoshii"

A heart like mine
Filled with light soft and bright
Like the starlit night
above.

This loving light from within my
soul
Became my gateway, showing me a door…

…to another world…

A world caught up in despair
Darkness wrought by
evil's hands.

But out of the darkness
Eight of us shall rise,
Along with my friends,
I shall…

…bring back the light…

Travel across land and sea
To bring back the light
this world knew before.
