I was a monster, and still he was there for me. And you were there too. Begging me every step of the way to join the team. I was cruel and merciless. I tortured and destroyed innocent Digimon. So...why? Why do you have so much faith and trust in me?

Why do -you-, Motomiya Daisuke, persue me? I look over to find you yelling for XVmon, fists in the air and hopping from one foot to the other. You look like you're doing some insane tribe dance, and I can't help but smile.

You have so much energy, so much life. I'm almost scared for you. We all live such dangerous lives. Even the digidestined that aren't the ones here.

I -need- you Daisuke. I don't know if you know it, but I think you do. When you talk to me at night. When our digimon are asleep and we're curled up against eachother. The way you hold me as I pour my heart out. My hopes and fears. You're why I'm here now.

Sometimes I wonder why I continue to battle. I put Wormmon at risk...Stingmon at risk. Then I realize that if I didn't continue...I'd put you at risk. You look over and say something and it takes me a moment to realize what you said. I nod and give the okay for Stingmon and XVmon to digivolve together. Maybe it means something. Maybe that we're supposed to be together too.

~I want to be inside you~

I look back to you and you give me a grin and a thumbs up, I smile in return. I wonder if you have a hard time putting on a show like I do. There's just something about you though, that makes me not mind.

~I want to be the one temptation that is good enough for you~

You make your way to me, forgetting the battle for the moment and you rest your hand on my shoulder. "Are you okay Ken?" You ask, and I almost don't hear it. But I nod, with a smile and feel my cheeks turn hot.

You look around quickly to make sure no one is looking before you kiss me. I'm surprised, as always, when you kiss me in the view of others and I return the quick kiss. You pull away, winking at me before you go back to rooting for our Digimon, and then I'm left with my thoughts once more.
