A/N: incredibly easy to write, but i had the inspiration of possibly the most perfect mark i've ever seen. you can read this as mark/roger, or you can read this just as complete loss.

isn't it.
the spotlight shined
but now it's dead - -
the words torn from your throat

you closed the door, softly.
(lock clicking like a coffin)
and the flames licked your skin
painting the walls
with your own dripping fire.
oh grasp the air
like the man you are - -
get up in his face
show him who's boss
he can't leave you
can't survive you're an IV of
pure support peace
dripping into his
blood he's addicted
and he can't leave you
your world was carried
on his shoulders
until he shrugged.
