Maybe it was meant to happen. Maybe when I accepted, I became smaller as a person.
Whatever happened, it did, and it wasn't the best choice.
"I really would like to go," my friend, Lupe, a Ravenclaw, said hesitantly. "But, I'm not sure uh.... It would best for, er....Ravenclaw. Yeah, Professor Flitwick, he uh... doesn't want me getting into any more trouble. Bye!" Lupe ran off down the corridor as fast as her feet could carry her.
"Sure, Ravenclaw" I mumbled under my breath.
It all happened when some Slytherin named, Fylie Ghettersome dared me, that I couldn't spend a night in the Forbidden Forest. I accepted, but then, decided to make it a challenge. Fylie, and I had to fin a group of 6 students each, to go through the Forest at night. At Midnight, we all had to meet at the middle of the Forest, with some odds and ends and then meet in the morning at the Lake. Hogwarts Professors never let students go into the Forest, or off the Grounds, without an adult. But, as long as they don't know, we're not in trouble.
It was really warm, and it was the middle of June. The term ended only two weeks from now, and exams were just ending. At seven at night, we went to the Lake, and met Fylie.
"Hullo, Stell," she said circling me and her group of "friends". "Ready to loose? If you're chicken we can all just go back to our dormitories...."
"Mi nada pollo!" Lupe said, getting up from the grass in which she was sitting on.
"Whatever, Guadalupe. I still must ask why you're hanging out with stupid Hufflepuffs like them. You are a Ravenclaw, the 'wise' ones, so, join us. Cunning Slytherins, and wise Ravenclaws. You can just forget those old fluff head Hufflepuffs." Said Miranda Nowhesth, Fylie's best friend.
"Bug off jerk face! We'll beat you so bad, you'll be crying to Snape!" said Dillon McCollum, a good friend of Lupe and I.
"Yeah! We'll throw you into the water and leave you're robe to dry!" Shouted Achtung Marketes, another friend.
"Sure, just remember, Slytherins always win! Let's go, the race will begin now." Remarked Fylie.
