Gilina Memoir:
Perchance I Shall Dream
I have always dreamed
Of a life
Different of that
Of a tech's
Dreamed of a place
Where I was
Respected
Admired
By others
Then on board the Zelbinion
I met him
He was an alien
Nevertheless, he was like me in so many ways
He felt
Out of place
In this universe
And he was not alone
In that feeling
I know that now
He told me of a world
Where techs are respected
A strange notion indeed
Though, my fellows and I
Had often dreamed of that
Certain perfect world
And it appears to be true
Perhaps there is
Hope after all
Then as soon as I met him
He left
Flew away in that magnificent leviathan
He called home
Now, I lay back
In my quarters
Tired,
Missing him
Wondering what will become of him
When I sleep
Perchance I shall Dream
Perhaps of him
Perhaps of that mystical world. . .
