I suppose I should give you some background so you all don't think I'm insane. I work at a toy store (KB Toys to be exact), and on one of the CDs that they brainwash us with at work the KB kid (as we lovingly call them) says in an add "And now here's N SYNC singing 'No Strings Attached' brought to you by Cyclops, Storm, Gambit, Wolverine, Rogue and all the X-Men." Personnally I find that scary, but funny.

NO STRINGS ATTACHED

"Great news everybody!" Logan shouted coming in through the mansion's front doors. "They're starting our action figure line up again. We're getting shipped out to all the big companies."

"That's great Logan." Storm stated walking down the stairs. "We could always use the royalties."

"Yes!" Bobby shouted. "We can finally get a DVD player."

"There's just one thing." Logan said. "This store, KB Toys, they want to put an add on one of their store CD's."

"So shugah?" Rogue asked. "What's the big problem?"

"We gotta pick a song to play after the add. A song endorsed by us. And," Logan added before Bobby could fully open his mouth. "It has to be kid appropriate."

"Dat's easy, mon ami." Gambit laughed. "Somet'in like de Itsy bitsy spider should do."

"Funny cajun." Rogue said, slapping him in the back of the head. "He said song, not nursery rhyme. I say somethin' by Garth Brooks."

"Ah no!" Bobby shouted. "I am not endorsing country music!"

"Nor am I." Storm stated. "I am sorry Rogue, but your tast in music is attrocious to say the least."

"Okay." Rogue said, staring at the two of them. "What would you suggest."

"I think we should endorse an African tribal song to teach children about acceptance and diversity." Ororo stated firmly.

"Or something by Pink Floyd!" Bobby added.

Meekly Jean stood up and said, "What about N SYNC?"

"N SYNC!" Everybody in the room shouted.

"Yah." Jean said. "We want to sell these toys and make money right? They're a popular band, and they're kid friendly for the most part. I don't know about that 'Digital Getdown' song though."

"Jeanie." Logan said. "It's a boy band. Boys are gonna be playing with these toys, not 14 year old girls."

"Ah think she's got a point Logan." Rogue chimed in.

"So do I." Ororo added.

"Sides, I think that JC is such a cutie." Rogue giggled, while Gambit stared at her defensively.

"Not me." Storm replied. "Personally I find Justin to be much more attractive."

"Storm!" Bobby almost shouted. "You listen to that sort of stuff."

"Of course Bobby." Storm smiled. "I say we take a vote on this. All those in favor of a song by N SYNC." All the girls put their hands up: Storm, Jean, Rogue, Betsy, and Cecilia. Gambit also put his hand up because Rogue threatened to rip his ear off if he didn't. "Opposed?" Storm asked. Bobby, Logan, Warren, and Scott put their hands up. Remy just scowled and rubbed his ear.

"Looks like its gonna be N SYNC boys." Jean smiled triumphantly. "Now which song?"

"Somethin' not too popular." Rogue said. "We don't wanna look like we're tryin' to push the popularity angle too much."

"True." Storm agreed. "How about that title song, what was it, 'No Strings Attached'?"

"I like that one." Betsy stated.

"That's the one, then." Jean said. "I'll call the company and let them know."

"And now here's N SYNC singing 'No Strings Attached'. Brought to you by Cyclops, Storm, Gambit, Wolverine, Rogue and all the X-Men." The voice on the CD trailed off as the song began.

"How come I get stuck in the other category?" Bobby whined. "It's not fair."
