Disclaimer: I don't own Dragonball or anything else. Really I'm broke.

Author Notes: For the few of you that have read my first two stories I decided to start my epic. Uubu and Bra have always been my favorite characters of Dragonball GT. I don't know too much about Uubu's family so if anyone gives me some info about them on the reviews it would help a lot.

The Princess and the Pauper

Uubu stared out his bedroom window and watched to rising sun. He couldn't remember the last time he missed it. Even when he went to the city he made sure to watch but the sun didn't seem quite as bright there.

"Hey Uubu! Get off my head." Uubu lifted his foot to see his very angry brother. Ginni was just 8 and the youngest in the family. The boy looked up to his older brother, always watching him train.

Ginni picked up his clothes and threw Uubu's pants at him. "Are you going to the city today?"

"Yes." He knew what was coming next.

"Please let me come this time. I've never been to the city."

"Can you fly?"

"No."

"Then how do you expect to get there?"

"You can carry me. Please. I don't weigh much and you're very strong."

"What do you want to do there anyway?"

"See what a city looks like, what else. Come on, I'll let you step on my head every morning." Uubu burst out laughing. "I've never seen a tournament fight either."

"It's not a big deal but if dad says it's ok, we can leave after breakfast."

"Yahoo!" He jumped on Uubu's back and they went outside. The freshly tilled land already showed small shoots of beanstalks and corn. It was going to be a good year but harvest was still many months away. Many of the villagers were working on irrigation drenches. Ginni ran and took hold of a tall dark skinned man's leg.

"Papa, Uubu's going to the city. Can I go too?" His dad raised an eyebrow.

"I'm going to fight in a small tournament. The prize money should be enough to help the village until the harvest comes in. We should be back in three days."

. "It's sounds like you have it all worked out." He patted Ginni's head. "Make sure you tell me everything when you come back."
