"Catie, listen to me!" Jamie Waite pleaded to the only girl he loved. He was practically down on his knees.

"Jamie! I saw you with her! It's not fair!" Catie Roth wiped the tears from her eyes.

Flashback.

Catie walked into the gym for the pepp rally that day. Jamie, her best friend, was talking to the head cheerleader, Nikki Gesmond. He was smileing and talking flirtatiously.

Catie walked towards them and when she saw her kiss him. She ran back outside to the football field under the bleechers and cried her eyes out. Why did he do this to her? She didn't deserve it.

End Flashback.

Catie looked into his eyes, she tried to find trust. She looked like she was searching for something in his eyes. She actaully was. She needed something to convince her. Mostly, she needed him. His heart was broken, so was hers. He never loved Nikki. Not nearly as much as he loved Catie. I mean, sure he's went out with Nikki once, but never loved her.

Jamie knew Catie was the one for him. He dreampt that forever.

"Catie, please," He began, kissing her hand as she leaned on the side of the school, "give me another chance."

Catie looked at him. Her eyes were blochy and red. She brokedown crying ven more. She thought she was done crying, well she thought wrong. She knew she loved him and she was beginning to actually believe him.

I have to trust him if I love him, right? She thought over and over again.

"Catie, stop crying. You have to believe me. Forget about what you saw today. I love you. If you don't believe me, I'm sorry." Jamie pleaded, he looked so helpless. His leather coat must have been so hot because he ws sweating and she thought he looked so hot.

"Jamie, how can..." She began but broke down again, "how am I supposed to trust you if you kiss someone else!? How does that show respect, Jamie?" She asked, smartly.

"I don't know what you mean, Catie. I love YOU!!" He yelled. He was scareing her.

"Jamie, calm down. Please." She said grabbing the lapels of his coat.

"Catie, please. You don't know what it's like to have somebody not believe you about love. How could you argue with love. You know I love you!" He said grabbing her shoulders.

"Jamie, I love you, too." She said hugging him. She accepted the truth and realized she had to believe what he'd said.

Jamie hugged her tightly and wouldn't let go.

"I'm sorry..." He said quietly into her hair. His coat was wet from her tears.

Jamie let grip go of her, then, he led her to her house.

"Catie, please, forgive me?" He asked, praying silently that she understood it wasn't his fault.

Catie nodded, caefully. She hoped she was making the right choice.

Jamie felt terrible. How could he let her just stand there, right in front of him, and have her accept his apoligy. He couln't do this, because, he knew he hurt her. Even though... it wasn't his fault. Jamie swallowed and took two steps away from her.

"I'd better get going, Jamie." Her voice cracked, but she had a hint of hapiness in her voice.

"Yeah," he said, "me, too."

So, what do ya think?! The truth now? To short? Yea, thought so. Oh well.
