The Cards

A Digimon that looked like a small blue leopard stepped up to the
Dark Gate. "This is Evermon, reporting to the Digimon card keeper," it said.
The Dark Gate's two jet-black doors slowly opened. Behind them was total
darkness. The only light came from a glowing throne at the end of the room.
"What do you want, Evermon?" came a voice from the throne. Evermon scratched
itself nervously. "The Chainmon, they um…"
"What?"
"Lost."
"WHAT!"
Evermon gulped. "Some kid came through the gate to the real world
and helped Dovemon digivolve to Veclorimon."
"Darn Dovemon!" the Digimon card keeper spat. "Somehow he always
gets away. Now I need a new army."
"Why don't you just turn Digimon evil with the cards?" Evermon
said helpfully.
"Idiot, you know I couldn't do that!" the Digimon card keeper
shouted. "It's against the Digimon law." Then he smiled. "I could turn
Digimon evil, just not with the cards."
"How?" Evermon questioned. Then he added jokingly, "Wait, I know, I go around and tell Digimon,
'Hey, come and join forces with the Digimon card keeper because he'll give you
more than Dovemon giving you.'"
"Exactly."
"How did I get stuck doing this?" Evermon asked himself
miserably. He had been walking for two hours and still hadn't seen one single
Digimon. Now there was a forest to his right and a huge pit to his left.
"Are you lost?" Evermon spun around to see who had spoken. It
turned out to be a small pink Digimon with floppy ears. "Who are you?" Evermon
snapped. The pink Digimon bowed to him. "I'm Bunnymon. I help lost tourists in
the Digimon National Park."
"I'm not a tou-" Evermon stopped and smiled sinisterly. "Digimon
park, huh? Everwind!" A strong wind
blew that only Bunnymon could feel. Bunnymon shrieked and got blown backwards
into the pit.
About half an hour later, Evermon came across another Bunnymon.
It was a lot bigger than the other one. "Have you seen a Digimon that looked
just like me but smaller?" it asked Evermon.
"Nope." Bunnymon shrugged and moved on. Evermon kept walking,
smiling to himself. He turned a corner and came to a sign that said
Park Square
Evermon looked around happily. There were Digimon everywhere.
Now all he had to do was find one worthy of the Digimon card keeper.

laughed happily. "An army of fifty to go attack Dovemon. Now we can't lose."
His army was marching closer and closer to Dovemon's castle. Suddenly a
Tabbymon rushed at them. "No one comes any closer to the king's castle," it
said. BOOM. The Tabbymon fell to the ground, unconscious. "All right, Dovemon,"
Evermon shouted. "We have you surrounded. Come out and face the Digimon card
keeper's wrath."
