Prologue: Link is finished battling Majora, the evil demon who was originally trapped in a mask. Keeping all his masks, Link returns to Hyrule. He is still a kid. This story is about the secret quest Link takes to find his lost friend Navi. It has been a year since he saw her last. He begins his search at Death Mountain.
Chapter 1: Link visits The Great Fairy on Death Mountain
Link was going through Kakariko Village. He asked around about Navi, but it was of no avail. The chicken lady did say that she saw a white fairy fly through the town, but then she said that it was ten days ago. It was no use; Navi was not in the town. Link moved on up the path to search Death Mountain trail.
On his way up, Link ran into a couple of spiders, but he easily dealt with him. He thought it would be faster to get up the mountain if he were a goron, so he donned his Goron Mask, and became Darmani. He rolled with skill and agility, and in no time, he reached the mouth of the cave to Goron City. A goron stopped him and said, "I haven't seen you around the mountain, are you new?" At this Link took off his mask then the goron recognized him. "Oh it's you Link, how astonishing that you can transform into a goron."
"I picked it up at a city," replied Link.
"Oh, how cool," said the goron.
Link went into the city. He went down to the room were Darunia used to be. His son Link the goron was there, ruling the city. "Hi Link, legendary Dondongo buster, and dragon slayer. Nice to see you again, how could I be of service?"
"Well, you see, I am looking for Navi, the fairy that was with me the last time we met. Have you seen her?" questioned Link.
"Yes I did, she was looking for you up here about two days ago," replied the goron.
"Thank you!" exclaimed Link.
"No problem brother," said the goron as Link headed for the Great fairy's cave.
Link moved on up the mountain. He had to dodge boulders, and molten rock coming out of the volcano. It was a pretty small eruption. Then he saw the cave. He went inside to see the great fairy. Link played his ocarina to call the Great Fairy. "Hello Link, I am the Great Fairy of Power, how can I help you?"
"I am looking for Navi, have you seen her?" asked Link.
"She was captured by a dark force, though I did not see who it was," replied the great fairy, "If you want my advice, I would search beneath the well of Kakariko. There are many things no one knows about in it."
"Thank you Great fairy," said Link.
"Your welcome," said the fairy, continuing as she disappeared, "If battle has made you weary, come back and see me, and I shall heal thy wounds." With that she was gone.
