Hi all, this is my first story about the sorting hat at hogwarts please read and c what you think. Hoping for lots of reviews. Let it b the first of many !!!
The Sorting Hat
Hello there, my names Osbourne Ubernglime, known to all you out there as the sorting hat at Hogwarts School for young witches and wizards. If you didn't know my job, well to be frank your a bit slow because I sort the 1st years into a house when they join Hogwarts. The choices are either Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherine or Griffindor, but if you read those famous books you'd know that already!
I have been placed on many children's heads and have heard many children's thoughts, you lot do think many remarkable things!! (Especially those two twins Fred and George Weasly!!!)
One of the many famous heads I've been placed on is the young Harry Potters when he was at Hogwarts (may I add one of the best quidditch players around!!) and even Ambus Dumbledoor an old head teacher at hogwarts who was very wise! The whole of the Weasly family have been inside me and that rotter who used to be in Slytherine, what was his name ahh yes I remember young Draco Malfoy, took after his dad did he the little monkey.
Take a first look at me and you'd probably think the same as many "what the hell is that on my head", but now in the time I have been at Hogwarts I have heard so many comments I just get used to it nowadays and take them as they come. I may be old and a bit scraggy but I'm still as well as I was when I started my job 100 years ago maybe lost a bit of colour here and there but I'm still as lively!!
A historic item you may think, well that's me!!! Have been at Hogwarts since it opened and will no doubt be there when it closes, whenever that may be!
I am pleased with what I do, helping the heads at hogwarts throughout the ages putting the kids into their separate houses, letting them be taught in the rightful place with the right teachers. Giving them and extraordinary education for when they get out into the big wide wizard world!!
Well that's the lot from me got to get back and rest ready for the next lot of first years that will soon be arriving so goodbye from me and maybe one day I might see your futre relatives at Hogwarts School for Wizards!!
