Digimon does not belong to me.
Silly, maybe a little kawaii, and maybe a little boring too.
*sigh* Yuki lacks the romance feeling today, though I did write a chapter of Just Wondering...
I just can't start any romance fics, I want to work on sequels, but don't NO ONE dare to ask me to do a sequel on this. Usually I do whatever anyone asks me, but today...
I don't want to do a sequel on this story because I don't like the story.
To Ally...(I think) who asked me to write one. This didn't turn out as well as it should; I'm sorry.

Ken's Ego
The phone rang rather suddenly that Saturday morning. Kari groaned and picked it up.
"Hello?" She asked, too lazy to say Kamiya's Residence.
"Uh, Kari?" A guy's voice asked.
"Yeah, who is this?" Kari asked sleepily.
"Ken." Ken said. "Did I call at a bad time?"
"Oh, no."
"You're just waking up, aren't you?" Kari shrugged.
"Yeah, I guess."
"Well, I was wondering if I could come over and you could help me study that algebra test we're having, all right?"
"Help you?" Kari asked, giggling. "Ken, you're the smartest kid in the class! You don't need my help."
"Yes I do." Ken said. "So can I?" Kari nodded and confirmed her answer. "Great! I'll be there by quarter to ten." Kari looked at her clock. That gave her half an hour to dress and eat.
"All right." She said.
Ken arrived exactly as he had said he would. The doorbell rang and Kari ran to get it.
"Come in." She said. "I set up a study hall."
"Where?" Ken asked, following her. They reached a hall. Books were lying on the floor.
"Every room is occupied, eh?" Ken asked. Kari nodded.
"Sadly, yes." Ken smiled at her and set out his books. "Okay, what is the cosine of 12 degrees?"
"Um." Ken said. "I don't know. My calculator doesn't have a cosine button."
"What in the world is a cosine?" Tai asked, walking past. Ken and Kari stared at him.
"Tai, you should know!" Kari said. Tai shrugged.
"My room's also free now." He said, jumping over their books. "I'm going over to Izzy's. But be careful in there. Meko is having a fit."
"All right." Kari said, gathering up her books. "C'mon Ken." She moved them to Tai's room, where Meko was hissing and growling.
"Nice kitty." Ken said, bringing his books into the room. They studied for a bit more. Meko settled down and went to sleep. After a while, they got tired of studying and Ken reached out to pet the sleeping Meko, who purred.
Suddenly, Meko opened an eye and saw who was petting him. He extended a claw and swiped past Ken's hand.
"Ow!" Ken said.
"Ken, are you all right?" Ken nodded, holding his hand. "Meko!" But Meko had already disappeared out of the room. Ken started to bleed. "C'mon Ken." Ken followed Kari to the bathroom, where she climbed the sink and found a first-aid kit in the cupboard above. She washed the cut, put rubbing alcohol in it, and bandaged it, all the while telling Ken how sorry she was.
"It's okay, really." Ken said softly.
"Ooh." Kari said, a worried look on her face.
"My mom won't mind, really." Ken said. Kari frowned and sealed the bandage.
"You don't know how sorry I am." Kari said. Ken put his arm around her.
"Forget it." He said. They went back to the room to study. "Kari?" Ken suddenly asked.
"Yeah?" Kari asked.
"Why is Meko like that?" Ken asked.
"She doesn't like strangers?" Kari answered.
"Am I a stranger, to you?"
"What?" Kari asked, looking up. "Of course not." Ken reached over and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks, that all I needed to know." Kari shrugged and returned back to her work. But her concentration had been muffled, and she kept talking peeks at Ken. What did that kiss mean?

Please tell me how you liked this story. I need some encouragement...so I can start writing my Kouyako for someone else.
