A/N: This is 100% true! One of life's greatest lessons!

Night of the Roach (a true story)

Last week we had a bomb threat at my school (no big deal, we have one here like every week). My friend Katie and I were outside and she pointed out this anthill. I stepped on it and Katie said, "Don't do that! It's a living being's home." I, in reply, said "Oh it's just an anthill." That night, I was going into the kitchen, when I saw this huge cockroach on the floor. I was so scared to go inside but I HAD to. So I gathered up my courage and went inside. As soon as I set foot on the tile, the cockroach came running, or should I say crawling towards me. I screamed a little and ran into the living room. Then the cockroach ran into the closet. I haven't seen it since.

There's a moral to this story: "Don't do that! It's a living being's home!" I learned my lesson. From that day on, I never, ever, stepped on an anthill again. I think the bugs are after me, I have never seen a roach that big in my life!

I think the insects did it to me to teach me a lesson. Man, did it work.... I hope you learned some thing too.
