eternal

call me cruel
but i am the truth
don't want to look then walk away
i can tell you what's inside
if you've still got some hope left
no fun in crushing the fallen

there's no reason to label me
because i am here and i am eternal
loathe me
love me
pity me
need me
the only real thing we have is passion
but if you see her
tell her
that she's just the same inside
and she can't hide forever

miracles take on the sinister
wonder
can i hear the sound from the ends of the world
inside of myself
i am everything
so full that i cannot breathe but feel
and you can't understand

Author's Notes: I apologize for the whininess of Akio in this poem.
But hey, even the worst of us try to justify their actions--it's human
nature, if any of Akio is human. He does seem mighty surprised when
Anthy picks up and leaves him, and I imagine he spent at least a little time
reflecting on it before coming up with new ways to get the
Power of Dios. As for the lowercase writing--well, I'm not
e.e. cummings, but it just came to me that way. Send your comments to
