Disclaimer: I do not own anything other people could claim. Guardian and Rogue Elementals are my creation, though elementals not an original concept. People or creatures that lean towards one element or another are like unicorns and dragons. No one can claim rights to them, so I'm not trying. Fireline was my first Elemental character. I use her name when I'm online, but we have next to nothing in common. Fireline is not my avatar and I would not wish to be her.

This is the scene after Rogue Copy's first death at the hands of the Guardians and the decision to move base to Pathmir.

Nineteen silent, somber figures stood in a circle around a scorched patch of bare earth. Their faces betrayed little of the emotion they felt. The icy rain sizzled when it made contact with the auras of some, while others made no effort to shield themselves from it. Finally one of them stirred. She seemed to be a teenage female at the original Super Saiyan level. Fireline's golden hair stirred in an invisible breeze as she lifted her gaze from the blackened ground. "She's gone."

Those two words affected all of them. A human girl with rainbow colored hair and sad blue-gray eyes buried her head in the fur of the blue-point, white pawed, half-demon-half-Birman cat she held. The cat, Electrastar, began to purr softly in an attempt to console her human friend.

"We'll be okay, Deception," said an older rainbow haired girl, placing a hand on the younger girl's arm.

The gray and black demon warrior sighed regretfully and banished his weapon- a tall scythe made of pure Shadow energy.

A pair of Saiyans one with dark blue-gray hair and another with black hair looked at Fireline with confusion. "She's an Elemental. We don't die. How can she be gone?" asked Glayshell.

The black haired Lunia answered for her, " She's gone for now. It will be a while before she gains enough energy to recreate her body."

Deception choked back a sob. "What now?"

The not quite substantial ghost elemental, Spectra, spoke, "We should go someplace secret. We need to establish ourselves in a permanent location. Someplace no one can destroy easily."

"I know a place..." began a sandy haired Ctarl-Ctarl boy.

"Planets are out!" snapped a dark complexioned humanoid with red eyes and webbed hands and feet.

"Why can't we convert Pathmir?" suggested brown and gray furred Granite. "I know Copy created her, but it is the perfect location. With a little reprogramming and some help from the Cybercats I'm sure we could work it out."

Murmurs of assent were heard from the rest of the group. Fireline closed her eyes in concentration and the group vanished. With a last look at the place the Rogue Rainbow Elemental Copy had died, she too disappeared.
