SERIES: Participles #1
SUMMARY: Poetry from Rogue's POV
RATING: PG
SETTING: Movieverse, Post-movie/dog-tag scene
CATEGORY: R/L angst, Logan POV, poetry
ARCHIVE: Lists, People Like Us, others just ask
FEEDBACK: Please! holly@members.limitless.org
THANKS: To Chris and jaded and everyone else who liked 'Watching' and convinced me to do a sequel. OK, so it's not exactly a sequel, but there will be one eventually.
AUTHOR'S NOTES: I would just like to note that not all of my poetry is so repetitive, most of it is 'broken.' I just thought that since I did 'Watching' like this, the rest of the series should follow suit.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own these characters, Marvel, Fox, and Bryan Singer do. The evil plot bunny and bad rhythm are all mine, though.
< You are leaving me.
I knew you would. I have you inside of me; I know how you think. I know that you think I am a child who needs protection.
You are leaving me.
You are leaving a girl with a mind beyond her years. I have seen all you have seen and more. I have seen pain, death, life, love.
You are leaving me.
You think I am just a child, but I am not. I have grown up so quickly, and it is impossible to be a child any longer.
You are leaving me.
You think you are protecting me. But how is hurting me protecting me? How is ripping my innocent heart apart protecting me?
You are leaving me.
I know you will come back. You gave me your life, not once, but twice. And now you give me your only link to the past. I knew before that you would come back.
But for now, you are leaving me.
