Before The Founders
For centuries wizard folk and muggles lived side by side in peace. they
farmed and worked and invented with each other's aid. Nether
community would be were it is no if it weren't for those times. My time.
I was only seventeen when I was bitten by a vampire and became one
myself. In my time we did not have Hogwarts or Hogsmead. And
Diagon alley was only a small street hidden behind a wall that any
muggle could get past.
As much as some wizarding families of today want to claim that no
drop of muggle blood runs through them, they cannot. The Boneses, the
Weasleys, and the Malfoys to name a few. We intermingled with every
thing! they helped us by letting us test our new spells on them and they
in turn helped us solve the logic problems we have always had a hard
time figuring out. It was peaceful time. I remember when I was first
bitten I was found by muggles who, though fearful, helped me to my
home. Now, if that had happened. I would have had a stake in my
heart before I could have blinked.
I don't truly understand how the whole fight came about but remember
the war very well. I guess that we wizarding folk got tired of the
muggles always asking for more help and cures than they were offering
us in return. A war such as the world has never seen broke out.
Friend against friend. Husband against wife. Brother against sister. Us
against them. They fought with swords and other types of armor which
reflected the spells with ease.
When it was all over, they had lost more but then, we had less to
lose. We built up a pub to hide the entrance to Diagon Alley and put
charms to hide even that from their view.
While the muggle world advanced outwardly, we stayed the same on
the surface but all the while we were developing our thecnologies to
prepare should anything like that ever happen again.
We rejoiced when Hogwarts was built. It was a place to hide our
children. But when the muggles found it, most of those children we'd
worked so hard to protect were killed. They were hung from trees and
the site sent the remaining few into hiding in the forest. Years later that
same forest would be called the forbidden forest because dangerous
animals hid in there along with werewolves and vampires like my self.
We lived like this for years. Hiding from muggles and ourselves. I saw
the raise and fall of so many dark wizards and goblin rebellions that I
have lost count and interest in them. It is like seeing a muggle movie so
many times that you can recite the lines along with the players. I could
follow these dark wizards with little to no interest and know exactly
what stunts they would pull. Through time, we have made thing fly and
such but we cannot come up with a new way to take over the world. It
is mad!
That is, until Lord Voldemort came along. He broke the mold. He
brought the giants and us vampires out of hiding and forced us to
serve him. I am older than any of them were. I stayed put in the
forbidden forest. Most of the ones that went to HIM were killed. Brutally
murdered.
The Potters came and he was gone. But now he's back. Even I don't
know what will happen next...
I am the oldest of my kind. I remember when we lived peacefully with
the muggles and I remember a time when dragons flew over the land
along side galloping unicorns and wonderfully fantastic sea monsters. I
remember the time when muggles and wizards helped each other and
then harmed each other. I remember what everyone else has
forgotten....I remember.

him/her. please tell me what you think of this! I love hearing from you
guys/girls even if it's just to say it was horrible. Should I continue this?
