AN: This way a school project that I . . .er, *coughs* Kinda got carried away with. It was only suppose to be a paragraph, and it's not really all that long, but it's based on the point of view of a member of the black community sitting in the balcony during the trial. It's a man, but he's nameless. And I supose he would be maybe a cousin, or close friend of either Tom, or Tom's family, but I'm not sure. Just tell me what you think please? Stupid! I believe that be the perfect word to describe this here situation. Maybe not so much as the situation, but these here white folks running it. You don't have to be schooled to see Tom be as innocent as a new born babe! Hell, you don't even have to be blessed with sight! Alls ya need be two good ears, a good, true heart, and a clear mind. Those tell ya truth enough. Only one honest to God Almighty white fold in this here court room, and that be Atticus Finch. Speakin' of . . . 'Ol Atticus be wippin up a storm 'o evidence and they be treatin' it like it dirt! We all know this here be a lost case. Keep us as slaves, unlearned and unschooled, then when the wars over we free but can't work. We gotta set up our own schools, and that take time, and money, which the white folks won't give us! But we finally did get schooled, so that excuse be out! And another thing, I think anyone who say Tom be guilty of this so called 'crime' has the IQ of a nat! Besides, only way Tom would touch that broad be outa pity! She uglier than a wort hog! And I hears they be pretty damn ugly!
