The Forgotten One
Chapter One: The Letter
I was 13 years old when my sister and I got the letter. It was on cream colored parchment and had emerald green ink. Both were addressed to Miss Socha. I couldn't believe it when I got it. How could they have forgotten me? The letter read:
Dear Miss Socha,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It's located in London and all other information you need will be sent if you wish to come to our school. It's three years to late, however. We made a mistake three years ago when we were sending out the acceptance letters by owl. Some students thought it would be funny they erased some of the "Muggle-Born" student's names on the list. We have just been noted of this error and would still love to have you at our school. You would be having to do most of the First and Second Year homework, though. I understand if you do not wish to attend the school but I think you would become a very good witch. Talent you have, I know. If you would like to attend the school, and your parents allow you to, then I will sned more information on how to get here, and what you need.
Albus Dumbledore
My sister also got a letter at the same time as me. She was very excited as I was also. The only thing that was bothering me was the homework! Two years of homework plus the homework I would have to do for this year. That seemed like a whole lot to me. Plus how am I suppose to get to London?
