A/N: I don't own Hermione, Lavender or Ron or anything else you recognize.
Hermione sat down at her desk, frustrated by Ron. The very thought of him made her blood seem to boil.. How dare he act like such a jerk and then yell at her for going with another boy.. How dare he.. Ugh... Hermione decided she would try to get her feelings out in her next letter to him.. So she started to write.
Dear Ron,
You are such a git,
And you always make me mad,
If you want to drool over Fleur,
Well good for you, I'm glad,
But regardless of your ranting,
(Because I find it very dumb,)
The answer is yes, I'm going this summer,
To visit Viktor Krum,
Why would you want me to stay,
The way you always complain,
You say my hair; looks like Crookshanks died there,
And I'm far too much a brain,
Besides I had funny teeth before,
And I had to magic them to look half-good,
You never saw me as a girl,
And I doubt you ever could,
Why would you ever want a girl,
Who has such a big nose and feet,
Who's eyelashes are much too straight and short,
And who's skin's lighter than a sheet,
I mean, at least you're very tall,
And have such beautiful eyes,
Well, I've always liked your hair,
And how you're different from the other guys,
How you're your own unique person,
And how you always make me laugh,
How you always see light in the darkest things,
And find the brighter path,
I don't know what it is about you, Ron,
That seduces me so much,
There's some unknown thing hidden within,
That I can't begin to touch,
And even though you make my blood boil,
No matter what I say or do,
There's nothing in the world that can help,
How much that I -
"Hermione! Come on! It's dinnertime!" yelled Lavender Brown, from downstairs. Hermione put down her quill and looked at her poem one last time. Was this really how she felt? Should she give this to Ron when it was finished? "Hermione! Let's go!" hollered Lavender, again. Hermione laid her quill and her poem down on her bed and quickly left the room. But as she rushed down the stairs, she couldn't help but wonder... What on Earth can I write as the finishing line for this poem?
