"Hmm."

Ranma crossed his arms and closed his eyes. He tilted
his head to the right slightly, and then to the left, and
repeated the process again. Some of the girls in the room
tightened their grips on their weapons, and prayed
silently for him to say their name.

Ranma opened his eyes, as if coming to a conclusion.

"Well?" asked Nabiki.

Ranma pulled out his yellow Gameboy and said: "I
choose you, Pikachu!"

Fifteen years later, an extra-governmental organization
called the UNSTPTG would wage war against the
horrors of space and time known as the Fiances, and
young children would be forced to pilot giant
bio-engineered humanoid mechas to defend the fate of
the human race.

The massive non-nuclear explosion that occurred in
Nerima-ku, Tokyo in the year 2001 would be referred to
as the Second Wedding, and in school texts, there would
be speculations of a giant meteor that collided with the
district.

In an office somewhere in the Qing-hai province, a
woman would speak of a UN-funded project called the
FIP with several other powerful individuals over a
highly secure virtual meeting transmission. In Hakone, a
man named Kuno Tatewaki would steeple his fingers
before his shades and smile . . .

And, of course, you can't ignore the cute little albino
known as Ayanami Ranko. ^_^
