At Nightfall
At nightfall as the sun drops low,
Whatever the future decides to bestow
Upon us my love will go on straight and true,
Till the next time I shall be with you.
At nightfall across the land you walk,
I long to see your face and hear you talk,
But walls of no mercy hold us away,
But I know we'll meet again someday.
At nightfall when you lay your head to rest,
May your dreams be of the best,
Unlike the horrors that haunt my nights,
I know you put up courageous fights.
At nightfall when my life's complete,
I will leave you just one sheet,
Of paper with a note and a heart,
That says, "Now we shall never be apart."

Ok for those of you who didn't understand what was happening, The man was pulled away from the girl he loves and the people who are holding him prisoner end up causing his death. The note means that he will stay with her forever now because his spirit will be inside her.
Its based on the future outcome of one of my Harry Potter stories… you'll find out when I finish that story… hahaha
