You look at me, a grin touching
The corners of your mouth.
Our eyes meet,
Our voices blend with each other
And our souls…
Our souls intertwine.
A strong bind of friendship
Keeps us united together.
At the thought, a smile
Forms over my lips.
But, I wonder…
If you can detect
The forced feeling behind it.
Take a careful look at me,
Glance into my eyes,
Delve into the depths of my inner self…
Into my most hidden thoughts…
Can you spot and inkling of emotion
Lingering inside, holding back
Holding back… for a certain person,
Called to attention by my heart.
Those words… those 'forbidden' words…
Scroll through my mind,
Begging to be released
Into the verbal world.
Do you feel the same for me,
As I do for you?
Until I know, this must remain a secret
For your sake… and for the sake of my feelings.
Have you come to realization…
By the secret looks we exchange
By the encouragement from our friends
By… by the admiration I have for you
Deep within my pupils, serving as a passage
For you to see how I feel inside.
Do you notice that my face brightens
Every time we see each other.
Can't you see
That this predicament
Brings burden upon me.
Someday, when I know your feelings…
I'll find the courage to say
Those wretched 'forbidden' words…

Author's Note: Whew, another poem! Please don't kill me for the atrocity, heh… ^_~ BTW, this poem is Keniko, but it's not from just Uriko or just Kenji's point of view, rather it's from both of them. The amount of stanzas there are allows them to have equal stanzas; it kinda switches off. True Bloody Roar II fans, you can tell which ones are from Kenji's POV and which ones are from Uriko, right? *hears crickets chirp* …Okay… Hehe, just kidding, well hope you enjoyed this my readers and leave a review/feedback if you have the time!
