The first poem was written by Edgar
Allan Poe. I found it in a newspaper article and it inspired me to write a
couple things, the second poem is one of them. It has to do with the elements
and goes along with a Ronin fanfic I'm in the process of writing.

The unborn child, stares
straight at death, and defies him,
The whispering winds die,
the birds no longer take flight,
The fires grow dim and burn
out, no heat this night,
The earth crumbles, her
cries sound out,
But the waters shalt never
die, they'll live unhurt amid this chaos,
Through death, destruction,
devastation,
Through the blood, the pain,
the tears,
Never will she waver, never
give up her faith,
