The Cry of an Avatar
This Fanfic was originally in Spanish, I translated it so more people could read it. After seeing the epilogue of Digimon 02 and reading Lord Archive's Fanfic, "For Our Digital World" (Which seems to be a very good prologue for gooood epics), I came up with this. Now with the fic, which is more of a prologue than anything.
Taichi opened the door of a bar, he didn't look all that good... he didn't look good at all.
"Give me Sake... and fast... you don't want me to blow up the entry place" he said to the barman while showing his digivice, the man shacked a little but he did as he was told.
Taichi watched the glass while sighing, after a second he drank the whole Sake "You must be asking yourself who I'm and why I'm this way now... Am I right?"
The man nodded while giving Taichi more Sake
"Well... I'm Yagami Taichi, Age 27, supposedly the most powerful tamer..." This made the guy gulp while he started shaking again
Taichi looked at the glass, he drank the Sake in a fast mod, he then made signs to the barman so that he could give him more, the barman gave him more sake, scared that the tamer would turn violent and bring his digimon.
"A week ago... the love of my life married my best friend..." When he said that Taichi gave another huge drink to the Sake.
"Sora is pregnant with Yamato's child..."
The barman opened his eyes amazed while thinking, he closed his eyes and before Taichi requested for more Sake, he calmly gave him it.
"I don't understand why it had to end this way... The worst thing is that this isn't over yet"
The barman looked at him confused
"I... I still date Sora... She promised that she would leave Yamato but I'm not sure that she will... He loves her and she thinks that is her duty to be with him"
The barman looked at the floor while giving the tamer more Sake
"If Yamato actually discover us... It will be the end of our friendship *hip!* but that doesn't mean a thing to me *hip!* not anymore, *hip!* and love is much better than *hip!* friendship."
"For years I thought that nobody could interpose between me and Sora... Perhaps we began to separate when we were kids... When I said that her hat was horrible *hip!*" Taichi closed his eyes "That stupid hat was REALLY horrible..."
The barman looked at Taichi and said something, something that only the tamer heard
"*¡hip!* Future... I could not live in a future where Sora is just a dream... Even if I'm just *the other* I still have her, *hip!* I'm her lover after all..."
The barman nodded while giving Taichi more sake
Taichi took the glass and drank the content in only one drink, after that he sighed while a tear crossed his face
"If... *hip!* If I could go back to the past... *hip!* maybe... just maybe I could be the one married to Sora... *hip!* thats not for me to know... *hip!* maybe I could... but then again *hip!* maybe not. I will continue with my life this way... At least I've got something that can *try* to be happiness, but I know better, happiness is something that I will not really have."
