forgive me about this little poem about Sakura told Li's POV, doesn't rhyme,
sorry.
I was so envious of her
When I first saw her
How can this little girl
Be the Chosen CardCaptor?
I was arrogant
I was prideful
Until I saw her
Her emerald eyes
Glued me to the spot
She caught me like a fly in a spiderweb
She was like an angel
I was like what I was named after,
An egotistical and conceited wolf
How many nights have I not slept
Just dreaming about the cherry blossom?
The day came when
I made a little teddy bear
Pink like her and gorgeous like her
I was disgusted at myself
What kind of warrior
Allows himself to fall in love?
When I received the news
That I had to go back to Hong Kong
I didn't know what I felt like
Either relieved or grief-stricken
I dunno which
Thank goodness I had finished the bear
As I was leaving for the train
I gave it to her
She was delighted
But sorrowful when she knew I was leaving
I can still remember the words she cried
out as I left:
"Good-bye, Syaoran! Good-bye!
I love you! Remember me!
Good-bye, Syaoran!!!"
So now here I am
In Hong Kong
"Syaoran?" it's my mom
"I just wanted to tell you
that you can go back to Japan
for a visit
Isn't that nice?"
I froze
"Syaoran! Li!" she breaks into a smile
as she spots me
She races into my embrace
I hugged her
And felt my love for her returning
Though it never left
A/n- erm, I had to finished this fast
before afterschool because we have a Chapter Test on Math…so see ya! GTG! Wish me luck in the test!!!
