I didn't love you from the Start

How did we end up like this

together standing here

I thought it was love that clouded my heart

but now my heart is clear.

In beautiful fabrics of silky white

with a painted smile on my face

I walk down a carpet red

keeping my poise, my cool and my grace

My heart is screaming with disregarded pain

with fear of this beautiful day

the summers breeze flutters my hair

and I know that I can not stay

I look in your eyes and see the same

regret that I held in my eyes

to make things easier, I turn to leave

leaving family and friends with startled cries

I run through the grass, the coolness on my feet

and I feel for once joy deep in my heart

please, Seifer forgive me always

I can't marry someone I didn't love from the start
