There's so much pain
Even just by whispering his name
A lulling melody against the wind
A hush
A sigh
A whimper
Everywhere I turn
I see him there
A grin
A smile
A smirk
A warming presence
Like a breeze of hot air
A comforting rush of heat
That sometimes make my hair stand on end
I cry
Tears streaming down my face
I know I'll never see him
For eternity
Never again
Even as I sleep
He haunts me still
Those coral-green eyes
And the secrets they hold within
Those intimate jokes we've shared
Whilst blowing zombie brains away
That lost moment we both stared
And knew our heart's answers deep within
But all is lost
He's torn from me now
My sweet angel
My sweet Appollo
Far up in heaven

Claire clsoed her diary slowly and then set it aside, her gaze slowly trailing across the bleak Paris scenery outside. Fragile white snow drifting down onto the cobbled streets below.

"Claire?" A soft and tender masculine voice poked about her fading consciousness, bringing her softly back to reality. She turned, her chocolate-brown gaze catching the azure-blue ones by the door.
"Yes Leon?"
"It's time."
"Oh." She got up slowly, hesitantly and headed towards him. For a brief moment she suddenly turned back to gaze at the worn spiralbound notebook she had left on her desk. A small present Steve Burnstead had gotten for her on that fated day.
