Oz stood outside the Sunnydale DMV lounging against a stone pillar. Devon was sitting on a fire hydrant, staring at him. "You gonna pass?"
"Dunno."
"Well you better know, I promised Cindy you'd haul us to the movies later."
Oz rolled his eyes. "Right."
"Yup."
"You nervous?"
Oz shifted. "No."
"Sure?"
"Yeah."
"Cool." Devon removed his uber cool sunglasses that he swore the chicks 'dug'.
"No pressure dude. But your gonna be the only one of us that isn't a juvenile delinquent. Gotta have wheels."
"I have wheels."
Devon eyed Oz's large bright green Cadillac that had been burrowed for the occasion. "It looks like a tuna boat."
"Its traveling in comfort."
"Right, cause its a plane."
"I'm going to get a van."
"A van? Cool. With plush rugs and everything? Shit I could get down in one of those."
Devon waggled his eyebrows at Oz. Oz shook his head slightly. "I saw one on sale. Gonna get it."
"Well shit, got it all planned out my boy."
As Oz was about to respond a large mean looking woman excited the DMV. "Daniel Osbourne?"
Oz pushed away from the pillar and moved toward his car. The woman eyed his currently green hair and torn jeans and then gave one glance to heaven. "Well lets get started."
~*~25 strenuous (even by Oz's standards) minutes later.~*~
"Park in the testing area there." The woman said, watching Oz as he carefully steered the car into the spot. She checked off one more thing on her list, wrote something in red at the top and got out. Oz wanted to call after her but didn't, cause he was Oz. He got out of the car and followed the lady toward the DMV.
"Didja pass?" Devon yelled from the bench he was lounging on, hitting on a harassed looking girl.
"Dunno." Oz stated, the woman had disappeared inside.
"What the fuck?" Was Devon's response as Oz went into the bustling DMV. He spotted the lady and walked over.
"Here's your license. Go here to get your temporary printed up." She handed him a small piece of paper and smiled, it didn't reach her eyes.
"Well done."
"Thanks."

"Hallelujah!!!" Devon screamed out the window of Oz's new van. It was painted a bright pink color and the woman who'd sold it to them had patted it as if it was a friend about to leave. Oz had almost felt sorry about taking the van from her. She'd smiled kindly as they'd pulled away though.
"Gonna have to paint it." Jerry said from the backseat, he was currently spreading Doritos chips around in the back with Marlon his partner in crime.
"This is so the groupy van." Devon said, throwing his arms out and taking it in. "Gonna have to loose the pink though."
"What color you gonna paint it Oz?" Marlon asked, trying to avoid getting orange Doritos cheese in his hair.
"Zebra." Oz said finally, thinking for a few moments.
"Well shit." Devon said, staring out the windshield.
Oz smiled, having his license was going to be an experience.
