Capturing the Canary
Kuja looked out the window of his Desert Palace. Only yesterday had the idiots arrived. 'Well only seven idiots. And a beautiful canary.' Kuja thought of the beautiful girl he had been dying to get his hands on. Now was his chance. Her guardian and Zidane had left to get him the Gulug Stone. It was and impossible task. No one who went there ever got out alive and just his luck that it had talismans against magic making the strongest go after the item and the weakest stay. His canary was left unprotected with only two children and a strange creature. This was his chance. After all why would she refuse a handsome man like him? Kuja laughed at this wonderful opportunity. Imagine Zidane's surprise when he returns home to find his girlfriend married to his enemy. Kuja walked off to go find his canary.
Dagger rested in her cell when she saw the door open. She saw a figure standing there, the same figure who had killed her mother and destroyed her city.
" You!!!!"
" Yes it is me. Are you surprised my canary?" Kuja moved toward Dagger. Dagger jumped up and grabbed the dagger Zidane had given her for protection.
" I'll kill you!!!!!!!" Dagger jumped at Kuja with the knife. Kuja raised a hand and suddenly everything went black for Dagger.
"Are you awake?" Dagger opened her eyes and saw Kuja standing over her. She was in a very dark room. Dagger moved to sit up and noticed that she seemed to be frozen .
" What have you done to me?" Dagger looked at the man standing by her bed side.
" You wouldn't listen to me so I had to force you to stay still." Kuja sat down on the end of the bed.
" How can I listen to a person who has no heart?! Now let me go you *&^%#@) !!!! " Dagger tried with all her might to get up.
" If you say I don't have a heart, how can I love you?!!!" Kuja looked at her with fury in his eyes.
" You don't love me because if you did I'd throw myself out the nearest tower!!!" Dagger finally broke Kuja's spell and shot up.
" Why don't you just listen to me?!! Will it kill you to just listen to me?" Kuja yelled in Dagger's face.
" Why should I?" Dagger looked away
Kuja pulled Dagger towards him.
" Because if you were at all a lady you would at least listen to what I have to say before killing me. And you are in my domain so that means that if you step out of line I can kill you with a raise of my hand."
" All right, Kuja I will listen to you." Dagger looked into Kuja's eyes.
" Dagger I have always loved you and all the evil things I have done were to get to you. I killed your mother so that you wold have to become queen. I destroyed Alexandria so that you would have no kingdom. And I made sure that I sent Zidane to place that had a magic barrier so that you would be left here. And now since Zidane is away and will probably rot there you are mine!" Kuja grabbed Dagger's arm, pulled her toward him and kissed her on the lips. " So if you don't do everything I say I will not kill you but I will kill the others. Am I understood little canary?" Kuja smiled mischievously
Dagger knew that Kuja was not joking. " What will I have to do?" Dagger sighed.
Kuja smiled even more. " You will have to marry me. But do not worry in time you will grow to love me."
Dagger looked away. " All right I will marry you."
Kuja grabbed Dagger and forced her to stand up. " Good we will be married right now." He nodded his head and suddenly a moogle appeared.
"All right kupo do you take this woman as your wife?" the moogle asked.
Kuja smiled "I do"
"And do you take this man as your husband?"
Dagger softly barley being able to be heard said " I do"
"OK kupo you can kiss"
Kuja kissed Dagger passionately even thought Dagger did not return it.
Suddenly they heard a voice behind them.
"Dagger what have you done?"
It was Zidane.
