She was not from this world, she came from another time, another world, and another dimension. Appearing one night in their world. A stranger to this place. Yet slowly they had come to except her as one of them.
A Friend.
Things changed however almost to fast to realize, that they were changing. It was not one of those changes that creeps up on you, without you realizing it. No. No. It was one of those things that, knocks you up side the head, till your too dizzy to notice what's happening.
It had been the last battle with the warlords. After Talpa's defeat they had sucked around, to make the Troopers life a living hell. Even though they knew it wasn't likely that they would win. Not any more, that is. But they were stuborn, not about to give up. Though they came perty damn close to wining a couple of times. Using ingenuity and guile, tricks of the mind and body. Still it was never quiet enough to beat the Troopers.
Yet not all things have a happy ending. This battle was one of those things. In a way it had a happier ending then some things. Like most things it simply depends on how you look at it.
Because in the end they all died...

"Dead. We All Died." They all turned, silent, grim. It was a simple matter of fact, and none of them could dispute it. "It's the truth. We did die. It all fits now that you look at it. Like a book or story. When She stood up against such rage, we all ridiculed her, saying she was crazy or stupid. But she knew what she was doing. I can't believe it had to end this way..."
"Come on guys let's go home..."
They turn and leave. A small ray of light shines upon the engraved name on the tree.
In loving memory and respect of their brave friend this was to be her place, among all which she sacrificed herself for. Life.
A hand brushes against the name with sigh. The shadow leaves and the sound of gentle clinking is heard.
"May she truly be in peace." Kayura cried as she raises her staff and pointed at the Youja Kai gate it was time for them to leave the realm of the Nigen Kai.

Later, a slim figure walked quietly through the trees, she was dressed in a long white gown, it's
gauzy hem brushed the grass. Her hair floated out around her face creating a red-gold halo around
her. There was a smile on her face, and her green eyes sparkled with life. She skipped a couple
steps, an air of happy-ness surrounded her.
"I'm back." She whispered tossing her hair out of her face. She laughed lightly as she twirled around and around with a look of pure joy. All of nautre seemed to sing with her.
~~~ * ~~~In another part of the forest Seiji, stood, as though listening intently to something. Slowly he nodded, in understanding, a smile spread across his face... And all was again at piece. Only a few remembered what had pasted that day. It was as it should be. Someday no one would remember what took place. Remember how they and all the world had died. Or how they were brought back to life. The sacrifice that one person made for all the others.
