Chapter 1: Introduction
A/N: This is a Lily/James fanfic normally:
Lily and James had hated each other since the first day. The other people in the groups got along. One day Lily and James kissed and then they got married.
I decided that I wanted to be original!
Lily was an eye-catching female with golden-brown hair. She had stunning green eyes like emeralds. When she was at pre-school she made her first girl friends. Their names were Arabella, Maemi and Saskia. Arabella had unfathomable, brown eyes and dark chocolate coloured hair. She was very tall. Maemi was pretty much the opposite. She had bright blonde locks and electric blue eyes. She was minuscule. Saskia had blazing red hair and electric eyes like Maemi's. She was about average height.
Lily met James before Arabella, Maemi and Saskia. They had always been friends, even when they hardly knew what the word meant. Lily had Apparated, which was the first bit of magic that she had done. She didn't know that you weren't meant to Apparate without a licence. Her parents were amazed that she could walk to James' house that was on the other side of the town! She climbed up a tall tree and Apparated there so she came out by the tree house at James' house.
Lily had an older sister called Petunia. She didn't look anything like a flower. She had a bony face like a horse and teeth like one too. She had a personality to match her face. She was beastly.
James was very striking. He had messy, jet-black hair and blue eyes like sapphires. He was short and skinny. He loved playing pranks on people. Lily knew that he had an Invisibility Cloak. James' best friend was Sirius Black, a boy with waxy skin, brown eyes and hair. Remus had brown eyes, messy brown hair and always looked tired. Peter was the ugliest. He had hazel eyes and gloomy blonde hair.
Well, James was a wizard. He thought that Lily was a muggle, someone without a drop of magic blood in their veins. But Lily thought that James was a muggle. She had known that she was a witch since she was 3, but she hadn't told anyone.
All of Lily's friends thought that the others were muggles, so they didn't say anything about the fact that they were witches either. It was complicated before Hogwarts, but this was nothing compared to how it was at Hogwarts!
