The Legend of Jusenkyo; Part I

"Jusenkyo? Why there? What's there?" Ukyo poked Ryoga in his
shoulder repeatedly until he looked at her, an annoyed look on his face.
"There are the cursed springs, but I doubt that's the reason. All I know
is that this girl in this town near here told me to get you and go back
there. Because we had to find Jusenkyo." Ukyo sat down and nodded. "Why
me? How does this girl know who I am?! Who is she?! Where is-" Ukyo
stopped. "Though...I guess I shouldn't really ask *you* where she is..."
Ryoga frowned at her and turned away, a smug look on his face. "Then
how are you going to find this town without me?"
"Without you. It's near here, right? What's it called again?"
"I'm not going to tell you! Not unless we *both* go. That's
what she said, after all."
"Okay fine. What's the town?"
"Ahhh...." Ukyo sighed. "Can't you remember?" Ryoga laughed,
embarrassed, and said, "Well...I've been to so many towns, how do you
expect me to remember the names of all of them?"
"I don't, baka. Just *this* town. You were planning on returning,
weren't you?"
"Well...I was sort of hoping you would take me there. What are
the chances I could get back on my own?"
"And how, may I ask, do you expect me to take you to this town
if I don't know what town it is?" Suddenly Genma, currently his large
panda-self, lumbers in and decides to be helpful. He hands Ukyo one of
the many souvineirs Ryoga brought Akane. She looked at it; a small
statue of a carp, with the word 'Tomobiki' on it. "Tomobiki? Where the
hell is that?" Ryoga shrugged, and she sighed once more. Genma decides
once more to be helpful and hands them a map. Ukyo grins and nods as
she finds Tomobiki, only a town away from Furinkan.

Benten sighed and wondered why the rest of the Shichifuku-jin
had asked her to do this. Why summon people from all around Japan to
search out the Jusenkyo Springs? What was so special about them? She
sat down and looked at the next people on her list. Where the hell was
Tokyo-3?

Shinji Ikari opened the door to his humble apartment shared with
Misato and the odd penguin, Pen-Pen. He took off his shoes and went into
the kitchen to find Misato already home. "What are you doing here?"
"It's my home, isn't it?"
"Well...yes...but, you're back from work so early."
"I got a strange call from Commander Ikari. He wants you and
me to go to this town near Ex-Tokyo...Tomobiki."
"I've never heard of it."
"Neither have I, but that's what he wants." Shinji sat down
at the table across from her. "When does he want us to leave?"
"Now. That's why I'm home." Shinji's eyes widened at the thought
of leaving now without much of a warning, but then he realized that's
just the kind of thing his father would do.
"Do you want to bring any stuff?" Shinji looked up at Misato.
"No...it's not like I have much stuff to bring." She nodded, and the two
left their apartment with the penguin in charge.
- Hibiki Ryoga (Ranma 1/2), Ikari Shinji (Evangelion), Benten
(Urusei Yatsura), Yekul (Mononoke Hime), Kuonji Ukyo (Ranma 1/2),
Jariten (Urusei Yatsura), Ken (Digimon), and Katsuragi Misato
(Evangelion) are for reasons unknown chosen by the Shichifuku-jin
to seek out the legendary Jusenkyo Cursed Springs. Of course, Ryoga is
the only one out of the group who's actually been there before, and we
all know how much of a use he'll be to get them there. -
