Chapter 2 The Wand
Aragog. Dumbledore looked disappointed in Hagrid and asked Tom if he was sure a harmless boy like Hagrid could be the heir. Tom looked at Dumbledore in disbelief and said" Are you going blind sir? This, this thing right in front of your eyes is what must be hidden deep down in The Chamber of Secrets and he his the heir, or don't you believe me because he is in Gryffindor and you're the head of it." Tom said with deep anger but also with triumph
"I am not, "said Dumbledore "But I just can't see Hagrid setting this enormous spider on people that's all."
Then Tom set off at full speed to Professor Dipits office. After fifteen long minutes Dipit and Tom came back. Dipit took one glance at the spider and stumbled "Give mmme your wand Hagrid, now."
Hagrid slowly gave Dipit the wand and snapped in half. Hagrid cried and Aragog spoke to Dipit slowly and calmly said" Why did you break Hagrids wand when I live deep in the Forbidden Forrest not in the castle, Basilisks are afraid of spiders so I met Hagrid near the lake with the giant squid, I told him every night I would search the castle with him, this was to protect the students not to kill them."
Dumbledore finally got his courage to speak and said, " This cheeky little git was giving cheek to me before and I'm not at all happy!"
"Come on Dumbledore Tom here has just caught us the heir who opened The Chamber of Secrets." Dipit said this as if the Riddle boy was his son.
"Dipit you old stupid faggat, weren't you listening to the spider he was helping us." A blank disbelieving Dumbledore was staring at Tom and Dipit.
Dipit wasn't listening when Dumbledore said what he did. Dipit was fussing over Tom like a son as always. Dumbledore was fuming mad now, he had an idea while Dipit was fussing over Tom he could ask him anything and Dipit would say yes so he politely asked Dipit if Hagrid could stay on at Hogwarts as the games keeper of course he was right. Dipit was too busy fusing over Tom and saying how brave he had been that he said yes without thinking. Tom had been smirking at the thought of Hagrid being expelled but when Dipit said yes he had stopped smirking he was now very exceedingly angry. Hagrid was over the moon that he was staying at Hogwarts.
