A\N just so y'all know, I'm only ten, can't take too much criticism (well, constructive criticism is ok) so, please try not to flame me. If my story is really the crappiest of all crap though, feel free to tell me. :)

Daine awoke in a small, dusty cave with Brokefang. She didn't understand where she was. Where was Numair? Where was Kitten?

"Come out, Veralidaine, it will be a quick and painless death, " Daine slowly recognized the place. "Veralidaine, I am losing my patience! " Daine growled on impulse. She was alone except for Brokefang, alone in the most hated times of her life. She saw a faint silver glimmer in the air, and reached out to touch it, almost forgetting what it was. The form of a badger appeared on a rock in front of her.

"Veralidaine. Do you remember me?" Daine thought.

". . . . . . . .B-Badger? "

"Oh, good. Do you remember what happened before you got here? "

"No "

"You and Numair, " he paused and looked at Daine. She nodded. "Were being stalked. I don't know by whom. Weirin tried to pull you into the realms of the gods, but something went wrong. You were transported here, to your past, and, well, Numair. . . well we don't know where Numair is, We assume it's his future, though, " Daine felt a tidalwave of rage and worry come over her.

"Numair, find him! Find him! Please, badger! Find him! Leave me, and find him!
