rain - wash me away
earth - swallow me whole
lightning - strike me down
love - don't hurt me again

Dark blue was my night and my day
It had concealed my deeds when the moon rose full
The cur-sed colour had brought power and fear when touched by light
It had confined me to the job and route I chose

In the midst of darkness had come another ray
Bright pink with green had filled my eyes
Orbs of colour had looked to mine
Hair long and brown had held me tight

rain - clean my soul
earth - open your arms
lightning - fill my body
love - claim my heart
*
The people I stood for had sought my flower
And my ears had picked up their command
True, I led my people against her with power
And yes, I had done my task without soul

Needles of pain had struck when I let her lay
Feelings of heart and sense of duty had risen about
All had gathered 'round to relish their prize
And she had looked back with dull, saddened eyes

rain - acid - burn me to nothing
earth - tumbling - fall away
lightning - powerful - roar your thunder
love - cherished - turn your back from me

Soon it will be over; soon she - I - will die
No more pain for me to feel
When I lay down for my last rest
I pray I will be forgiven

All sins I've done against the Planet
All betrayals I have caused amongst men
May I see the green cover my eyes
As the Lifestream destroys my body

earth - heal yourself
lightning - quiet your voice
